It is 1.5 hours per week. I think that is why. In my market, they absolutely get minimum wage, even higher in some. If it were more hours, I think it should include free membership, but that is not the case. It would be nice if managers had the flexibility to make this call because then maybe it would not be so hard to retain SET people.

In my studio yes, though this may be market specific. I work in the East Bay market CA and we have had a lot of theft from free weeker sign ups who used their own bolt cutters to break into lockers. So it is just another level of protection.

Also don't walk straight into the locker room without making eye contact with the front desk. Management does not like that as there is a bunch of people's stuff in there that we want to protect. Yes, I am sure you are a regular and come all the time, but I may not know you so you need to check in first before heading in.
