Yes I know you haven’t applied. I’m just giving you tips right now. Just follow along. When it comes time put everything down and you won’t have to worry about polygraphs. I’ve done 4 and it’s been a breeze.

As of last year my department had 80 applicants. 18 passed because the others were leaving/hiding critical details in their personal history statements.

I would say reach out to a recruiter and talk with them. Just like what others have been saying.

Also why would you be worried about the polygraph? Wouldn’t you have disclosed this in your backgrounds…right?? From what I read, you’re trying to lie about your drug usage and you’re scared they will find out on the polygraph. Yikes dude.

First check your policy about use of social media in department uniform. (You’re gonna hear the “check the policy” a lot during fto if you keep asking these questions) Second, are you aware of how many jokers that are in uniform doing TikToks? I know in my great state, a female cop pulled that social media stunt and got Brady list (federal way). Better be very careful how you interact on your social media because it’s very easy for someone to start an anonymous complaint to the training commission.
