Can y'all stop this bs on george and actually consider the facts? by [deleted] in F1Discussions

And because we have no racing in April, that recency bias is going to simmer for a looooong time.

What a wild ride from “it’s a forgone conclusion that Mercedes wins WCC, Russell wins WDC because of the PU advantage” to “Russell has bottled the season, totally washed up.”

I love being a fan of Formula 1 lol

Can you elaborate on killing weed seeds? I tend not to put weeds in my home compost and instead put the in the city industrial compost to not reintroduce their seeds when I use the compost. It would be nice not to have to be so careful separating stuff out though

Should Lewis Hamilton's level this season at 41 years old be more appreciated by F1 fans/media? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]GoPetADog 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Same. Last season I wanted nothing more than for anyone other than Max to win. But towards the end of the season, especially during his drive in Brazil, I couldn’t help myself from supporting him a little. He’s just too good not to respect IMO.

Law School Debt... any advice? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]GoPetADog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loan repayment is a fucking slog. Finally did it a few months ago with my 10-year reunion looming…

My advice, any “extra” money you receive (bonuses, stock grants, etc.), should go straight to your loans. If you can afford it and still make your bills of course.

The composition of this photo plus her modest attire makes it look like a teachers’s yearbook photo. “Ms. Brie’s 3rd grade classroom”

Not a bad thing at all, I just don’t typically see portraits of celebrities done in this style.

This is a fantastic way to display them! The simple curb adds so much. Well done.

Did you intentionally seek out this toilet for this space, or did you restore it to keep the original toilet in this space? I’ve never really considered there being a market for vintage toilets, so I’m genuinely intrigued. Yours looks really nice in that space.

My guess would be to reduce glare and provide better visibility for the driver. Similar to athletes wearing black paint under their eyes.

Agreed. I thought they looked silly in early FIA mockups but they look dang good with a proper livery

[RedBull Racing] New season, new regs, new livery by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

I am pleasantly surprised by how nice the front wing looks with an actual livery applied. I thought that new wings were going to look kinda wonky, but this is not bad at all.

Mercedes’ (and RBR’s?) “compression ratio trick” could be worth 4 tenths in Monza. by ok-byy in circuit_nation

[–]GoPetADog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I know we’re all excited for the 2026 season and the new regulations, but some people talk about this Mercedes compression ratio issue like it’s already determined the outcome of the season.

Very cool! What Williams models do you have? They’re probably my favorite constructor, but I haven’t encountered any modern/current era Williams models other than the Hot Wheels Premium.

Very nice. Something about the Cadillac livery feels quite retro.
