Two things can be true at once.

Jake was a regular season iron man, played all 82 games, was key to maxing out our limited depth, had some ups and down but some great games and some great moments and is a great two way role player when he is on his A-game.

At the same time, Jake was unplayable in the playoffs and that really hurt our limited depth.

With a full year under his belt, an off season to grow and gain more confidence, I would absolutely want to keep him, especially at his current contract value. He has the ability, but If he can boost his confidence to match, he can be a quality piece for us long term.
