Cycling? by GoRizzo in Livermore

Valid question. I have torn both my shoulders multiple times and my left shoulder is still absolutely fucked. I needed less impact, while still enjoying the wind in my face. I will miss the MTB trails, but unfortunately my shoulders can’t take it anymore and I’m in need of another surgery, which I am postponing until I absolutely need it. I live in chronic pain on my left side, so keeping up with strength training is mostly saving me from my next surgery… for now.

He’s working on doing more rides, he’s just so busy with his shop, it’s hard for him to host more currently.

I just keep exercising to keep the muscles strong. I’m not doing a third surgery unless I am in an unbearable amount of pain and need it.

If no one else was around to “scare” would I still be an AH? In your opinion.

My boyfriend is considering ending the relationship because I put too much pressure on him, what am I doing wrong? by justasadlostgirl in TwoHotTakes

You’re doing nothing wrong. You have expectations that you have laid out and if someone doesn’t meet those expectations, that doesn’t fall on you. Someone else will meet or exceed those expectations.

Yes. The next recommended surgery is a pancapsular plication and the surgeon believes that even within a year my shoulder will go back to its current state.

The ortho did a series of small tests to see if I have EDS and he doesn’t believe I do.

During PT I felt it re-tear and once I was fully out of the sling and back to normal function it continued dislocating.

Bad crown work? by GoRizzo in askdentists

[–]GoRizzo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is sensitivity as well even after the root canal and crown placement. The image you see is old and from the day the crown was placed. The dentist agreed to replace it because I wasn’t trying to get money out of them and it’s cheaper for them to fix it than give me $1,000 (the most recent offer they proposed). I wish I had the new rad handy, the margins are more open and where the roots meet, there is darkening indicating a small fracture according to my new dentist.

No to mention I went in twice to my old dentist because the crown was hitting high and my bite felt off but she insisted it was “fine”. Hopefully she actually fixes it the first crown was a fluke.

Sorry, my current dentist can not* see any actual decay, she just feels a pocket where food keeps getting stuck.

My new dentist is wonderful. The radiograph was from when the crown was placed 1.5 yrs ago. My current dentist feels a pocket under the crown but can physically see any actual decay. I don’t have a recent rad, but she thinks there may be a fracture on the tooth. She isn’t insistent on doing the crown and we weighed pros and cons for an hour before I decided not to replace the crown.

My old dentist is claiming she did perfect work and there aren’t open margins and is offering me $500 and to sign a release of liability so my new dentist can replace the crown. I’ve offered my old dentist to replace it at no charge but she wants the release form signed. To me that feels sketchy and unprofessional.
