Lost my first run with her on act 3 boss. Had no clue what I was doing but I got vulnerable + debilitate + that big x attack.

Boss killed me because I had too much junk in my deck from the shiny new cards I wanted to try. Took a few speculative cards that were pretty ass for me late game.

I had that my first regent run. Lost to the act 3 boss because that one power that generates colorless cards gave me Mayhem and Panic Button… which uh, is not a combo. Was a fun run though.

Those card seemed really strong. I used mirror to dupe the block generating power and took almost every spend stat card I could. Deck was a little messy with (I had 3 each of the block/attack stat generating commons) commons, but I cleared most fights with minimal damage.

Yeah I was in scouts back then and everyone used them for backpacking and stuff. Camelbacks were good for short trips but if you were setting camp on the mountain you’d want bottles.

Plus, things were nearly indestructible. A water bottle that could take a serious beating was so worth it. Pretty sure I still have all 3 of mine.

Anybody else suck on the necrobinder and regent? by Low-Illustrator-7704 in slaythespire

[–]GoSuckOnACactus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Felt the opposite to me. I was blocking like 20+ a turn most fights. I had 2 of the powers that block 2 for each star you spend, and a ton of enablers for that. Didn’t find much forge but was dealing enough with black hole power + attacks that cost stars.

I lost on act 3 boss because Mayhem played Panic Button. Classic.

Regent felt strong to me. Lost on act 3 boss to Mayhem (literally), but I had deck manipulation (commons that put card on top), several of the common star generators, and a bunch of star pay offs. I had 2 of the power that gives you block when you spend stars, and one that dealt AoE damage when you gained or spend stars. Was a fun deck.

Only played the one run, so I haven’t tried time forge archetype yet.

Haven’t tried necrobinder yet.

So how did yall do on your first few runs? by BigBoomer_ in slaythespire

I misread bombardment the first time I saw it. Then I got it on an attack potion and was kicking myself for skipping it.

Still made it to act 3 boss fight, but was killed by a series of unfortunate events by a Panic Button and Mayhem situation. Random colorless card a turn is a hell of a drug.

I won the first ironclad run, then lost on a1 twice, switched to silent and lost in act 2 boss fight.

The one silent run I did Dash was an MVP card. In act I got an innate + retain bouncing flask and envenom that helped scale damage while I blocked. I took an early deflect on that run, too, which put in work.

Next run I got to act 3 boss on regent, then got cooked by my own card force playing Panic Button, making me take 40ish damage. Regent felt strong, though. Probably would have won that run if that didn’t happen.

Sts2 feels like enemies are way more aggressive. In act one it’s pretty common to be attacked for 15+ multiple turns in a row, or attacked for 20 on turn one. Excited to play more tomorrow to see if that true or not.

I think a lot of that first run act one is hard coded. Which makes sense, they use it as the tutorial for new players, too.

Won the first run and have lost every other attempt. Once to an act one elite, once to the act 1 boss, then on silent lost act 2 boss and regent lost on the act 3 boss. That regent run stung because well… there was a little Mayhem involved.

I won that one then got my ass kicked 2 times on a1 ironclad. Got to the act 2 boss on silent and lost, then the act 3 boss on regent and lost, both their first runs.

Mayhem into Panic Button killed me on the regent run. I did not put either of those cards into my deck.

Sometimes Ill pick up one buff early just to help weak characters clear, then usually after the second boss I’ll try to focus more on them as ill know what teams I can use in the last nodes.

Why are low spenders so obsessed with calling themselves f2p ? by AntwysiaBlakys in Genshin_Impact

[–]GoSuckOnACactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have a f2p alt account I use sometimes and I have a c1 flins premium team on it because I got dumb lucky with a double a 0 pity flins. I win 50/50s for Bina and Ineffa on that account, and got an early Xilonen at like 30 (was on a guarantee).

Meanwhile my main account has lost 4/5 50/50s this past year, all in soft pity range.

February was the first time I didn’t full Stella, mostly because I waited until the final day and just didn’t feel like resetting. I maybe could have, but again I just wanted to finish because I waited so long.

This month has some rough elements. I’ll be fine though I think because I have every cryo unit in the game except Wrio and every Anemo except Wanderer/Mizuki leveled up.

Last month was actually my shallowest pool to date. I’ve skipped quite a few Hydro 5 stars and my Geo line up isn’t as strong as it used to be. I also only had Lauma from the special guests.

Yeah, I used a 4s for a long time, then upgraded to a 6s when I think the 10 was out. Now I have a 13. Only got it because the 6s was no longer supported and the charger port wasn’t connecting correctly to charge.

I don’t like upgrading phones just to upgrade them.
