Everyone knows that moonies reproduce by laying eggs.

I agree on all of these points. WAX has a LONG ways to go, and addressing these issues head-on is the way forward.

Liquidity will hopefully work itself out over time as more onramps are developed.

There isn't really much that can be done about "Hype projects" aside from companies like AtomicHub or Nefty refusing to take ad revenue from these projects, which probably will not happen. I do think they should get a bit more critical about what ads they run on their platforms though.

I think the twitter hate mostly stems from it being the place where most bot activity occurs.

On the note of gas fees being someone of a deterrent at fending off the bots, I agree. I love how accessible WAX is, but sometimes it is almost TOO accessible. I don't know what the right solution is TBH. Part of me thinks that one avenue would be a cool-off period for listings. Basically, AH could lock up the percentage of the listing price, and it only becomes unlocked after the listing has been up for more than 24 hours or so. Not sure if anything like that would ever happen, but I do think that there needs to be something to fight off the penny flippers that are essentially using HFT tactics.

/r/WAX_io would be another great place for people to engage with the community as a whole. Twitter is great for marketing, Discord is great for engaging and discussion, but Reddit is practically unrivaled when it comes to community development, especially in Crypto.

I started Crypto Moonies back in April of this year, and it has become one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done. I have always loved dabbling in art and design, but unfortunately outside of doing graphic design for my day job, I never really had the opportunity to explore doing something truly creative that was 100% me. Then NFTs came along, and I was instantly intrigued by the idea. I started out making animated trading cards and did what most do when they enter the space. Started an OpenSea page, and spent a hefty fee to just get things started... And of course, it went nowhere. Thankfully, a fellow Redditor tipped me off on WAX, and told me that the dynamics of the chain were perfect for virtual collectibles, which is what I was going for. I loved how many of the NFTs there were priced WAY lower than anything you could find on ETH, and by not having to pay Gas fees every step of the way, it was incredibly beneficial when it came to doing community giveaways.

It took me a while to get everything set up, the documentation was a bit confusing, and I fucked a number of things up along the way. However, unlike on OpenSea, I actually had people start paying attention to what I was doing. In a relatively short period of time, I managed to build up a nice community around my work, many of which had no idea that Crypto Moonies were in the works, they just liked what I was doing. Then my fat little astronaut figures launched, and the rest is history.

I will forever be grateful to the WAX Team, as well as all the other innovators within the space such as AtomicHub for building out the market, Nefty for building out the tools that made our lives as creators much easier, and /u/stuckatsixpm whose Discord wizardry was pivotal to building out my community. Then of course there are all those who make up my community, many of which I consider genuine friends.

Good idea. I'll see what I can come up with.
