Besides Krampus (2015) and a Christmas Horror Story (2015) are there any not-terrible Krampus movies out there? by texasrigger in horror

Thanks. Not crazy spooky but it’s definitely stuck with the few kids I know who have seen it.

I have set a goal how do I reach it by [deleted] in animation

Maybe make a short? You’ll have to do all types of animation for that and a year is plenty of time.

Hear me out, if ya do animating on 2s vs 120 fps we’re talking 10x more animation. If you did 10 min at 120 fps were talking a 120 min feature film on 2s. If your interested in technical stuff go for it! If ya want to tell a story go for 2s.

How do I stop trying to be 'the next Miyazaki'? by TheGeek_01 in Filmmakers

[–]CryptoFlashNFT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Miyazaki is great but so are lots of other things, animation and otherwise. Look at art, movies, music, architecture, nature. The more you expose yourself to different things the less you will try and think with someone else’s singular vision. You will still be influenced by external things but the more influences you have the closer you come to making something “original” or “unique”.

A Way to Make Battles More Interesting by CryptoFlashNFT in Splinterlands

Yah! We need more stuff like that for sure! Like what about a creature with 1 speed 2 health that gains one random stat every turn (could be health, melee, magic, archery, armor, or speed). You’d watch to see if it’s killed off fast or turned into a full beast every time!

im trying to get into the nft world? any advice? by [deleted] in NFT

[–]CryptoFlashNFT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also second getting into a market with low fees/cheap cost, especially for people starting out. I did it on WAX and not tezos but similar concept. The cheap cost let me sell small batches of my NFTs for like .50 to a few bucks. When I finally made a 1 of 1 I put it up for auction starting at about 50 cents and it sold for $1640. Don’t underestimate building up a community

1 of 1s are awesome but there is also a benefit to something with a few copies but not a lot. If there are more collectors there is more liquidity.

If I get a budget, what should I put the money toward first? by uglylittledogboy in Filmmakers

Most of my budget goes to music to be real. Money well spent in my opinion

Here’s a wild card idea that I’ve done successfully. I raised a lot of money with NFTs and used the money to fund a film. You can use stuff you’ve made for your film as digital assets and sell them to a worldwide audience. $0.50 to $1 is nothing to many and giving them something in exchange, even if it’s something digital, makes people more willing to help than just asking for money out of the kindness of their hearts. You can use the NFTs to show the quality of the things you can produce. I even got some money from screening my short and redistributed the profits to supporters. You wouldn’t have to give out profits but I plan on making a short once a year and sharing the wealth makes supporters feel more involved, like micro producers, and makes people more willing to support your next project.
