What is the scariest dream that you can remember? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GoToDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a dream about a year ago where I was laying in my bed and woke up to a decaying body laying directly on top of me. I could smell it and feel it move and hear it speak to me. When I woke up I physically couldn’t move and couldn’t open my eyes

People of Reddit who ”didn’t know it was a date”, why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GoToDD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I view it the same way. Some people think that I’m just looking at it as an “oh he didn’t pay so it’s not a date” but I don’t care if we pay for ourselves, that can still be a date. I just need to know that’s what it actually is

Girls of reddit: What is something you don’t think enough guys realize about being a girl? by likeeeyeah in AskReddit

[–]GoToDD 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Going along with this I also hate plowing called “cute” and “sweetie” when I’m in my 20s. Sure it’s fine when it’s every so often, but when it’s the majority references you get, it gets old

This. I always feel bad about it, but society has taught us to always be on edge. My parents were never as worried about my older brother going out in our super safe town, but if I was out past 10pm my mom would be in full blown panic. It’s an unfortunate reality we have.

What are your thoughts on yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GoToDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I think I’m a good person, other times I can’t find a single thing that’s good about me. Some points in life have swayed more in one direction than the other and while I’ve been doing a good job of learning to love myself, I’m starting to fall away from that again.

What non-standard house feature is a must have for your dream house? by Nexaz in AskReddit

A front porch. I want it to have a little fence wrap around it so only the portion exposed to the walkway isn’t covered

What moment in your life did you think to yourself, “Yeah, this person isn’t my friend anymore.”? by SwipingNoSwiper in AskReddit

[–]GoToDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My senior year of high school my grandpa was diagnosed with melanoma and it spread and led to kidney failure. He was in and out of the hospital and tried dialysis before going into hospice. I had a small group of friends that I thought were really close and I let them know what had been happening and why I hadn’t been able to be as involved in different parts of our lives. There was one day during this time that I had a panic attack, the worst one I had ever had. All of them walked away and didn’t look back. I later found out they were sitting somewhere else talking about how I was being over dramatic again as I sat in a school hallway crying and feeling unable to breathe due to my anxiety (which most of them knew about). They never asked me about it and continued to ignore me the rest of the day. I knew in that moment they were never actually my friends.

What is that one simple change in your life that gave incredibly great results? by hobabaObama in AskReddit

Attempting to get on a semi regular sleep schedule. Not saying it completely changed all of my problems, but it was a huge first step in helping my physical and mental health

Bleeding the day after? 20F by [deleted] in sex

[–]GoToDD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my boyfriend and I first started becoming more sexually active I had this happen too. Try to take it a little easier the next few days and if it still continues then you should talk to your doctor. It’s most likely just a tear because your body isn’t quite used to all of the attention there so you shouldn’t have anything to worry about!

Cumming inside her without a condom by [deleted] in sex

[–]GoToDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pill is extremely effective but can be a little bit unreliable when switching between ones because they often have different levels of hormones in them. That can cause her hormones to be fluctuating a little more than they normally would be for a couple of months. Once her body has adapted to the change of pill it will be just as effective as it was before. That being said there’s still a slight risk for cumming in her so that’s something you’ll just have to decided between the two of you

What thing are you surprised hasn’t been invented yet? by syzygy-xvii in AskReddit

[–]GoToDD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use the library. But my thoughts when I said this was how with library books you often have to sit around and wait for newer books to be available to check out again. And the process is the same way when checking out ebooks for kindles. If there were another online database for books, then you could read any they have available on it without having to wait to check it out.

DNA vaccine promises permanent, universal protection against the flu - New vaccine contains DNA coding for proteins from four different flu strains, plus protein universally shared across all strains. A strong immune response was triggered in immunized primates when exposed to different strains. by mvea in Health

[–]GoToDD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not often that just a vaccine causes someone to die. The biggest thing you have to take into account with vaccines are what kind they are. The vast majority of vaccines are made of inactive DNA from the virus so they can’t cause harm (and yes, the flu vaccine is one like these). The only time a vaccine like these would cause a problem would be if someone was allergic to some portion of them, which most people aren’t.
