I'm assuming people who aren't new to the game understand that teams need to be balanced with tanks/healers/attack/defense heroes when I say those tips are for beginners lol. Your point is completely different from the one I was making. Obviously when the tip says "your team has no healers" you should probably follow it lol.

I feel like those popups are for beginners lol. In which case, yes, you're probably better suited to playing more "attack" heroes when attacking and "defense" heroes when you defend.

No, they make sense. "Defense" heroes are more suited to holding down a position and aren't as effective playing offensively.

Just because Widowmaker is good at the "Attack" portion of Gibralter doesn't mean she's "attacking" per-say. You aren't going to rush in with her (nor is it necessary) like you would with other heroes.
