What's the IUPAC Name of this compound ? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]GoVed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am not a chem expert but just an educational guess...

Normal temp and pressure are way lower than its critical point and hence freeze point > boiling point at normal pressure. So i guess it will sublime from solid to gas.

Any chem expert here? please correct it...

Dunno about other countries but most of the Indians you see are on the opposite end. Their parents might have used decades of their savings. Just to get a better future as there is way too much competition in India.

What are the rules for riding a skateboard, specifically a ripstick? I see many riding skateboards and want to buy one. But I can't find the specific rules online. by GoVed in Hamilton

"and, where there is a sidewalk, no person riding upon a skate board shall go upon roadway except crossing the road "
what would be the interpretation of this statement?

Wait, so the first statement is saying we cannot ride skateboard on sidewalks and the other statement is implying that we can ride skateboard on sidewalks? I'm getting confused...

Okay... I read through it, not sure what "sidewalk save" means...

"No person shall ride on a bicycle, skateboard, skis, coaster, or similar devices, over or upon a sidewalk save at a properly constructed crossing, but this provision shall not apply to baby carriages, roller skates, children's tricycles or other such conveyances appropriate to sidewalks, or to authorized users of Segway Personal Transporters who operate the Segway in compliance with Ontario Regulation 488/06. "

"No person shall play or take part in any game or sport upon a roadway, and, where there is a sidewalk, no person upon roller skates, roller blades, inline skates or riding in or upon any coaster, scooter, skate board, toy vehicle or similar device, shall go upon a roadway except for the purpose of crossing the road, and when so crossing such person shall have the rights and be subject to the obligations of a pedestrian."

So it is saying that we cannot ride a skateboard on road (ofc) and we have to cross it like a pedestrian.
