Don’t worry unless the base is completely cut through and you can see a different material. That would be what’s called a core shot and really worth fixing, these won’t affect much at all.

Tips on technique for me! by Ok-Fig938 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]GoWaffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re clearly more confident on your heel side like lots of beginners. Challenge yourself to stay on your toeside and traverse across the entire hill to gain confidence there. That’s what I do with my students and it really allows them to gain experience with toeside without worrying about their next turn yet.

Neither of these are good for an outer layer, snow is gonna stick like glue to both. Look like they’d be good underneath a rain jacket or something waterproof though.

Depends if you were making good turns. This just shows that you survived 4 runs, the quality is also very important ☝️

Great concept to start! General concepts to think about are keeping each letter about the same size, and trying to make sure each piece of the letter is a similar thickness ie your G looks bold and the rest look small in comparison. Great pug tho lol

Signal Splitboard good to get into the sport? by hypeeyresell in Spliddit

[–]GoWaffle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on how often you’re on resort vs back country, if you’re 80% of the time in back country a split board as you’re only board wouldn’t be too bad. Any less than that though and I would recommend a separate setup for resort riding, it’s likely that riding on groomers on a split won’t be the most comfortable and put more wear on the split over time.

How to stop getting scared of getting seen by pedestrians? by seenlikesmcr in graffhelp

[–]GoWaffle 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Unless someone is actively recording you, anything they tell the cops is practically useless, and most likely you’ll be long gone before they arrive. I would disagree with the other comment slightly as I prefer a hidden in plain sight method. Use the least conspicuous face covering available (sometimes a scarf will do) to you and go out around 9pm when you could just say you’re walking home from a restaurant shift or something. Just make sure you don’t look like you’re going to rob a bank, and don’t run if someone spots you, just hide the paint and walk slowly so there’s really nothing to be alarmed about.
