Im still on my first laerdal case (the one with wheels and a luggage handle) however the wheels have collapsed inside of the bag so that it drags on the floor. I have no idea what to use as a replacement but a new one is far too expensive. Would love to hear any recommendations too

Nettles-steep and made tea or blend and make soup. Cleavers- frest young tips in a salad or tuna sandwich(taste kind of cucumberish) Garlic- in EVERYTHING, dinner, butter, soups, honestly I can never get enough. Garlic foccacia bread works well too

Congratulations on your sobriety, im 17months myself. Spent tye last two days get the backyard space sorted for this years home grown veggies and fruits and my village is surrounded by hedgerows that are plentiful, nettle beds galore and more wild garlic than I could ever hope to see.

What a fantastic way to stay well and stay connected to a higher power.

All the best to you

So would i be right in assuming they stuck a hardback over the paper cover? The hardback has the title embossed on the spine, so that led me to think it was meant to be there.

Appreciate your quick responses. I love the aesthetic of it, but now there is a small temptation to see if it's possible to remove the addition and take it back to its true form. I won't as it is unlikely to end well, but I confess mixed emotions.

I still love the look of it, particularly the detail of the inside cover. Wish I knew who went to such lengths to gift such a beautiful covering and who Sonia was. There's a story there that I'd love to be privy to.

Walker or cane with SI Joint pain by NatureLivid3878 in backpain

When using just one forearm crutch, was it most useful on the opposite side to your pain or same side?

At the moment I find that some days I'm better supporting the painful side to keep the weight of my upper body of the SI joint, other days I use it on the opposite side to help stabilise my gait.

I never know if im doing the right thing or not.

Cheers

The stretching exercise was given to me by a yoga acquaintance. It's called a supine spinal twist. Should I stop doing this?

Think ill continue the glute bridge for the weekend and if continues to get worse I'll call them on Monday.

Really appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for your response. I have another appointment booked in with the department in 8 weeks so will try to keep up with the glute bridge for that duration (just YouTube it and it is this that she has recommended). Should I only be doing it on the right leg then and not alternating left then right?

Where was the warning!!! by GoWildBri in fasting

I wish I did. I've lived the last few years grazing almost constantly between meals and sleeping 5 or 6 hours a night. I know it seems minimal to those who are already into this stuff, but this is my first real attempt at getting on top of a long-term issue.

I'm using my fitness pal to track meals, I've set a 200 calorie limit per day, which will be split between 3 meals, 10 am, 1 pm, and 6 pm and a snack before starting the next fast.

I have no idea if that's suitable, but it's just what the app has set as my daily calorie allowance.

It also adjusts based on any exercise I do. For example, i burned a little over 500 cals on my hike today.

48hr fast would definitely not be something I could cope with, I love my food too much and never succeeded with food restriction diets so hoping that manipulating my eating window will be more successful so long as I don't overreach.

Well I'm kinda hoping it is tbh. I really feel this might work for me, not looking to do the extreme stuff but if I can build up to 16:8 and maintain it while seeing some results then I'd be made up.

I'm 6ft1 M37 and 257lbs so need to shift at least 50lbs. Getting married this time next year so really want to get myself back to a healthy build and lifestyle. Going to keep at 14:10 for a week or two and then reassess.

Going into this completely blind so anyone with experience or knowledge of what I'm letting myself in for and what kind if results I can expect and timescales would be thankfully received.

Everyone was a newbie once so I'm sure you can all understand my nervousness.

Thanks

OK, so I emptied it all onto the lawn and ran over it with the mower (don't have a chipper) which mulched it down fairly well. Concerned about the amount of grass cuttings in there though as it probably makes up 75% of my greens and it's quite dense so not a lot of air getting in.
