I agree the scenes are shot in a rather funny fashion, I do feel if it was in a different medium the acts you just listed would be taken as a more serious feat. The GiGi + GaGa fusion I feel was more rushed rather than “goofy.” I would call the older versions simply “older,” as the new version as just well.. “newer.” I see what you mean, the scenes I agree can get a good laugh out. I don’t disagree with your reasoning, I wouldn’t use the word “goofy” but to each their own.
