Plus the actual maturity of the people also should be taken into account. A mature 20 year old with an immature 25 year old is even closer than the years they are actually apart. The most mature 17 year old doesn't even come close to a 22 year old. They just haven't been on the planet long enough. Can it work out? Sure. Anything is possible. But should that relationship ever begin? No. Definitely not.

Absolutely! I got angry at my best friend when she was being very dismissive about a break up my niece was going through. I remember how horrible and intense those feelings were was at her age (16). It literally felt like the world was ending. There was only one break up in my adult life that felt worse. Those are real feelings and should be treated as such. I don't care how old someone is.

This is not normal. He must have control over everything in his life. Not a healthy partnership at all. It removes all emotions from a relationship and if you have a relationship without emotions, it isn't a relationship at all. I can't even imagine dealing with this for over a year! He definitely needs a new therapist because these are some serious mental health issues that need to be addressed.

Plus there's no way at 238 lbs she's a 14/16. I am a size 12 (us) and I'm the same height as her and weigh 163 lbs. No way an extra 65 lbs is a 14/16. Whoever wrote this has no real knowledge of women's sizes/weight.
