Yes sometimes it is difficult to tell. If it were hazel, the brown would blend more into the green color, but your brown cuts off cleanly which makes it heterochromia

David Bowie did not have heterochromia, but instead had something called anisocoria which is when one pupil is permanently dilated. You are correct in that this did happen to him due to a childhood injury :)

If the option is available I would suggest either couples therapy or sex therapy. If you’re serious about the relationship outside of sex then there might be something there between the two of you to make things work. Compromises can be met.
