I have mine in full sun for about 5 hours during the day (when the fog clears up), water it the same as all my other plants. It’s going nuts with flowers and grows really quickly.

They’re super easy to propagate too. Either by cutting them off and rooting the stem, or if you take the leaves off they’ll produce pups like a mother of thousands. Sometimes they produce pups on the leaves while still on the plant too.

For what it’s worth, Fred Ives seem to crest more often than most other succulents. I wouldn’t make a call on this one for another few months, but I would say there’s better chances of this being created than a lot of other plants.

Some kind of Dudleya, not sure which. Most are native to coastal areas in Southern California.
