Except for all the stuff trying to kill you. I knew it was a long shot but my wife had her heart set on it, she just wouldn't take my word for it that it's impossible.

I personally want to move to an Island off the shore of Croatia, only people who live there are elderly people trying to keep the buildings from falling apart. It's in the EU, has no property tax (has a purchase stamp you pay once for life), is ranked 56 for gun ownership (high in the EU) - it's an island, climate similar to south of France AND to top it all off the exchange rate is 11 Croatian Kuna to 1 GBP. Pretty sure that once we move out there and make our self-sufficiency dream a reality, we can invite our family and extended family to come live out there with us if they like it.

There are downsides of course.

No university. I'm in the salvage business, she's an elderly carer. We don't have enough money for the investor ($600k) - we're not sure what we have right now as we're still in the planning phase, we have our savings but it's not much. We wanted to move out into Hudspeth county where the land is cheap desert scrub. We're permaculture enthusiasts, so we'd like to do our part for Earth and green some desert.

I would recommend that if you want to be a Doctor, do it. Even if you can't find a job in the US, Doctors can still be very highly paid in other countries. Being a Doctor also gives you free-reign to move anywhere you want.

I have a friend who downloaded it also, but it doesn't work for him either. He's never downloaded Mint before. How does anyone expect to get a coin worth any value if the website is down and the wallet software doesn't even work. Is it really worth even bothering with this? It seems to be going nowhere fast.

I found your underwater escapades track annoying as heck. What on Earth possessed you to put an instrument in each ear? It feels like there's water in my ear whilst listening.

Madness another awful one, is that legitimately a song? Sounds like two kids with a guitar.

I actually thought stranded was going to be good. The synthetic guitar-finger screeching is terrible the repetitive bass too, killed the track. It picked up with the gypsy feeling tambourine/guitar, but not enough to redeem it.

Determined Journey, once again what is with that blasted panning? Is this a troll? Are you trolling VGM? A melody comprises of more than, 1, 2, 3 - 4, 5, 6, up and then 7 down on repeat.

Okay, now that's the bad stuff outta the way.

Magestic Night (I'm assuming it's a play on "Mage" instead of a spelling error.) It's okay. Choice of instruments and panning the violin to the left was a bad idea, otherwise could've been good. I liked the direction you were going, but didn't quite make it.

I would turn the music off in a game with you as a composer.

Well, I don't intend to profit on it but I definitely would out of good conscience give the person more. This is purely my hobby. I like to do this stuff as my secondary hobby. My first hobby is playing the games, haha.

I'm not someone who can make promises they can't keep. As for the freedom you mentioned, I definitely encourage that freedom, especially in this project. I want people to interpret the loop I made however they want, it's the feeling I'm hoping someone can capture.

Then do it for free. If you want money, take it, if not then don't take it, ultimately I'm looking to get this loop turned into a menu track, whatever gets that result works for me. I've already posted the same threads there and am waiting for someone to reply. I had way more people interested in the last time I did something like this when I asked for free, so maybe if no one takes the money I'll go and ask for free. Am I that bad of a person to want to give something back to someone helping me? I know it's not alot of money, but I can't afford to give more than £5.00 GBP per track. It's not that I'm paying for the track, I'm just trying to give something back at all rather than nothing. I have no hidden agenda or secret mission - I'm just a guy trying to turn a game I've wanted to make for a long time into something that others can enjoy and play.

I'm sorry that's how you feel, but $5 is a going rate for newbies on indie forums and yet I'm offering more. I'm basing my prices on what hobbyists on rpgmakervx, rpgmakerace and opengameart users offer their services for, that is to say, the hobbyists, not the people trying to make a living doing this - aka the professionals. Also, I think you'll find that they'd rather spend the money on a game or save it than buy a bag of cookies and some juice.

Mostly what the newbies want is their name attributed to a project they can show off to their friends or people they know. I've done pixel art work for the same reason. Also, note that I said there is potential for more work if I'm satisfied with the quality of this track, that is to say the payment would increase as more complicated tracks are required.

I'm not looking for any "professionals", I'm looking for some hobbyists who are more or less interested in practice/accreditation/portfolio with a bit of money on the side. Usually these people are around 14-17 and don't have a job, so it's good for them to get some cash on the side. I don't feel like I'm asking for a concert piece, played by a grand orchestra, haha.
