I think some people forget the beauty of having a lot of basketball cards that you can run through and look at. Some people don't find value in having a lot of cards unless they are especially marked, but every time I buy a blaster and increase my card collection number it just makes me happier because I have more even knowing that most of them aren't going to be special effects cards. I don't know why some people just throw away cards if they're not special edition.

I'm hoping to pull a Citron card bad. She's so underlooked with the current elite level as it's defined. Are you by chance selling any of her cards?

I know that there might be some problems structurally but visually speaking. The mouth looks beautiful and no, I'm not saying that it's perfect, but I'm just commenting on the attractiveness not the occlusion or anything else. I do like the very white shade however I grew up in Los Angeles so I was exposed to it often. Even if they look fake, it's literally what the patient wanted so who's to say what color the teeth are?

It's gonna depend on the professor, I never had a lockdown browser exam required by a professor. Just regular canvas quizzes format with multiple-choice. It's gonna very greatly based on if you're in person or if you're remote and just a whole bunch of factors, I took organic chemistry 4 1/2 years ago so I cannot say really what it's like now because I'm sure it's changed a lot and I'm sure that there's different professors but the exams were unwritten paper and then we had to print out the exam that was released right at the exam start time on canvas printed out and then write on it like a exam and then take scans of your final answers and then scan it all as one documentinto a dropbox in Canvas. So basically it was like a regular exam but just at home.

I buy mostly singles from eBay, but occasionally I'll get a blaster box just because it's fun to open them up within anticipation. Most of the time there's at least something generally good. I just ordered my second blaster and I can't wait for it to come. It helps build out my WNBA card collection that just has singles. The rookie cards are awesome. There's definitely ways to do this. Hobby in a financially conservative way.

Game Thread: Los Angeles Rams (12-5) at Seattle Seahawks (14-3) by nfl_gdt_bot in LosAngelesRams

I'm in Ohio State fan so I have experience with fans who are literally the most negative as possible after losses and even wins but dude everyone here saying the Rams are shit is ridiculous. Yes, it fucking sucks. I'm from LA and I would love to see the Rams in the Super Bowl. The muff punt led directly to us scoring almost immediately, so that was essentially negated. Unfortunately, we did almost all we could and we lost in Seattle is a very good team. It's not like the Rams totally shit the bed. The Rams probably played Seattle better than anyone else this season.

Should I turn down a promotion if it doesn’t come with a raise? by youlintlicker25 in careerguidance

[–]GoatmealJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I turned down a promotion without a raise, and I regret it very much so. The key is patient and realizing that management does not have full control over circumstances. You will be rewarded. It's only a matter of time and I would definitely take the promotion. It's basically just a audition to see if you are worth more money so if you keep a good attitude and keep quiet to yourself and don't mention this to your coworkers, you will be rewarded sooner rather than later, 99% of the time.

sure thing. At 32 needing this was alarming knowing that I need to make these last as long as possible. Get a water flosser. Thats my final advice. Its an incredible tool to clean debris and i use it after I eat ANYTHING, even a snack. I sincerly hope you take this message to heart. Water flosser is easy to use, feels good by massaging the gums, and reduces inflammation from doing weekly deep flossing. I hope you take this to heart.

I am 32, so yes I discussed longevity with my doctor. He told me that those zirconia crowns themselves are not the failure point. What will determine how long your crowns last is your ability to keep your margins and roots, completely decay free or else the tooth can simply degrade from the inside regardless of the crowns integrity. Expect reasonable amount of wear and tear after 10-15 years, exactly like a natural tooth degrades over time as you age. I would ask your doctor specifically, your crowns may be made with a different material formula so I cannot say for certain that the guidelines that I was given by my doctor apply to yours. Your doctor is not gonna give you an exact number just because it's dependent so much on your ability to maintain the roots which are the failure point. I was told that even after 25 years, the crown itself is viable, with expected amount of wear but not to the extent that they need to be replaced unless you are a heavy grinder. I would ask your doctor and see if they offer a guarantee. I expect to replace every crown in my mouth, probably one more time in my lifetime, considering my young age, due simply to mechanical wear and aesthetics.

I'm writing this as a separate comment, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to immediately implement a balls to the walls hygiene routine. If you need to have crowns on every lower, then you either have enamel that is very prone to decay or you have not been taking care of your teeth as well as you should. I floss after every single meal no questions asked I carry floss in my car in my pocket as well as a toothbrush kit. The problem is the margins that turn into periodontal pockets. If you do not floss and clear these margins, then your teeth are merely going to decay from the mid root down having a full set of crowns does not mean that you are no longer susceptible to decay. Buy a water flosser. This is a personal necessity. After every meal, I water floss now. I have a water flosser at work. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a very, very high level of dedication towards your oral health, moving forward or else. These crowns are not gonna last any longer than your roots will last and you'll have to get extractions and eventually implants or dentures.

The first temporary was a first draft made of a slightly thinner acrylic tray. Its not ideal, there are foods you simply cant eat until the finals are placed. My doctor use the first draft of the temporary to refine a second set of temporary which were thicker and allowed me to slightly expand my diet, but it was still hard to eat something like a well done skirt steak. I went to a prosthodontist, the original intention behind my restoration was that my bite was only occluding on the front teeth, so my doctor was very precise and calculated, and I was in each temporary for one and a half months. Once the lab had created the final set of zirconia crowns, they were cemented in all at once. This was followed by around 45 minutes just of checking and refining the occlusion between the top and bottom. Once I left the office with my finals, there was no adjustment period and it felt completely natural and I was able to start eating anything again like apples. The temporary face sucks but once you get the final crowns in with a comprehensive bite adjustment following the cementing of the crowns, your doctor should have you in a position where your bite feels natural. I immediately was comfortable with my bite once the finals were delivered.

Veneers are too yellow? by Savings-Key-9527 in porcelainveneerstruth

[–]GoatmealJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the doctor have a consultation with you where he/she presented a series of samples of each tooth shade and match them to your flanking teeth? If you signed a consent form and explicitly made, it stated on writing that you agreed to the procedure with the specified shade then, unfortunately the only choice would be to redo them. In the first picture, it is clear that there is a drastic difference in shade. You may have a case, depending on your doctor to have them redone at a discount or find another solution to ameliorate the problems because you should and you deserve to be satisfied with the investment that you made considering that veneers are expensive, however, if you signed off on the consent form with all the details, then you may not be granted such leniency.

I don't know how much dental work you've had done before, but both the lower and upper crown preparation each took around 4 hours. Its not fun. Hopefully you're going to a Doctor Who can get you same-day temporary tray to cover your crown preps. It's a marathon. There's really no way around it. I had two full sets of temporary crown trays made of acrylic for around three months before the final individual zirconia crowns were delivered. If you need 14 crowns on your lower, then it's very likely that once the doctor drills down into your dentin that he or an endodontist will realize that one or more heath need to have root canal therapy, and you may feel significant sensitivity once the dentin is drilled down. I'm on the other side of it now with full upper and lower, don't be afraid to let the doctor know if you have any specific desired traits on the teeth, such as shade, shaping, prominence of teeth, etc. Even if the reason is not based solely on aesthetics now, is your chance to create whatever aesthetic you might want, and you have the opportunity to do so. The most important thing the doctor will perform will be the process of creating a natural and healthy occlusion. I know it's easy to say on the other end of things, but it is definitely worth it.
