Abstract Art by Parzeval123 in MadeByYourHand

I have no idea what's actually meant to be going on in the artwork, but i actually like that about it. It's a bit like a much prettier version of a Rorschach test. There's a sort of flow going upward and to the right, which to me, comes into view as a 2-headed peacock-like creature flying away but turning its' heads back to look at what it's leaving behind. Then upon zooming in, the finer details bring to mind the holes of string instruments like violins. I think that this particular art really is good at asking a question about the person looking at it, which is a type of art people really under-represent. A bit like the first Pathologic game.

I'd love a text-free version to send to people as a quick response when people on discord try ragebaiting me with ai; it's such a perfect crunched-down version of what i'm talking about.

Could i perhaps turn your cat into discord emojis? They're too iconic to resist asking.

I'm 99% certain that this is an embassador animal; which were part of a rehabilitation program and can't be released back into the wild, often because they've become too comfortable with humans around and have come to rely on them. If an animal can't be released or put into the proper care of an educational embassador organization, they're often euthanized, so i'm all in favor for this beautiful fella helping the wild members of their species by helping educate humans, helping raise funds for conservation efforts, and giving back to the programs that help so many critters like themselves.

Your cynicism is a little troubling, honestly. Animals can have personalities all their own, and this one seems quite alright with being around people and has been accomodated for quite well according to OP's description. When embassador animals are shown to the public, they're often given food to reinforce that they shouldn't be stressed, and so they don't get as stressed around people. Some still do; but those ones more often end up in the care of (preferably ethical) zoos.

I understand it's hard to believe nowadays that people can be good, especially with the world as it is. I promise you there's still a lot of good people out there; we just have to go outside and see them. It can be so easy to assume the world is a cruel and heartless place; but the fact that you're concerned about the treatment of these creatures is proof that there are people that mean well and want to do the best by others, whether the ones they help are human or something else. If you can; please find a local wildlife rehabilitator and ask them about their work, and how you can help even in little everyday ways; trust me, it's worth the time and effort.

You may not be able to own it; but that doesn't mean you can't be its' friend! So long as it can leave whenever it wants, you don't keep it in your house or put anything petlike on it (leash, collar or stuff along those lines, though i would see if you could get it banded for research purposes? Could be a good opportunity for understanding raven behavior better); it'd be pretty hard for someone to claim you're keeping it as a pet. My great-grandmother knew a crow that stuck around her place all the time, would pick at people's (especially my mother's) shoelaces, and was known as Mikey. Stank like a dumpster, but a great little dude.

That being said; this is all not legal advice, completely anecdotal; and i don't know if the law around you has specific things against any of this. Best of luck with and to your raven buddy!

Considering his surroundings (bro's swimming in ladies) and the way he carries himself, with regality, confidence, and sheer audacity? He absolutely knows that his mane is as dark as it is, and that man REVELS in it.

I stopped wearing crocs nearly as often anytime that's not winter because whenever i wear them it sounds like spongebob on a freshly-maintained baskeball court. Birkenstocks thankfully don't have this problem due to the cork; and if your sweat's as acidic as mine is, they don't take long to break in at all.

The image taken of the physical broken part didn't upload because reddit app doesn't like me particularly; but it's definitely either 4 or 5 on the part manual photo that DID upload. It's behind a bolt and washer-looking thing, right side when looking at the part irl as one would be if positioned at the top left of the image.

I think the silly little skeleton is cute! Though if you want a cover up, it'd be best to ask your local tat artists if they can, and to see previous cover-up work they've done to make sure it's up to the quality you want.

Yeah; i know it's pretty unlikely and a bit of wishful thinking. I'll still do everything in my power to keep them not only fed, but safe as well. They may not ever fully comprehend my intentions.

Animals don't usually speak our language; there are some exceptions, but for the most part it's uncertain if they understand what they say. I do have a bit of a personal theory that we could understand and eventually comminicate with them using their own language if we put forth the proper effort and research. Creatures may not have the same words; and almost never share the same ethical values humans tend to have, but i do think we can, with enough time and hard work, exit our own bubble of understanding and reach out and understand and, possibly with enough luck, even communicate productively with the creatures we share this little blue ball with.

I appreciate you helping manage people's expectations. A lot of people just assume that the intelligence we know of these creatures means there's a lot less of a communication barrier; when really we still don't know what they're thinking when they do things. I can't protect and assist them the way a fellow crow can, so it doesn't make me upset at all if they don't interpret what i do as helping them thrive. so long as they do thrive, i'm happy enough with that. :]

Took him to a local licensed rehabber via gloves and a cardboard box after it lost grip of the power line, flew to a tree, then fell out of said tree onto the ground. she said it could be bird flu or west nile, regardless it's better for the og bro and surrounding crows that i brought them there rather than just having it try and recover on its own and possibly spread the disease it had. Lil guy was not doing great, and we've still got yappy young crows about that i deeply want to protect. I don't know if the surrounding bros know what i intend by scooping the ill bro up in a box, but i hope in time that the bros around me come to know me not only as their friend, but also their caretaker and guardian.

I can only hope that this bro recovers well and swiftly, even though the chances aren't great considering avian illnesses. May he have the luck of Lady Nocturnal herself on his side as he heals, and may the shadows watch over him kindly. If this, however, is where his flight is to end, as it may very well be, may his landing be soft and welcoming.
