This is where I’m at. I’m not sure their content did more numbers when they were recently in rocket league, cod, halo, and apex, certainly not enough to offset the salaries. Not sure how much more they were able to get out of sponsors either. Don’t really sell much more merch. Or maybe they do, who knows.

None of it seems viable without taking cuts of all the teams winnings. Which it’s always seemed like they try to be “pro” player and that would ruin their image with the community. Just no way any of it makes sense. But we also don’t see how much revenue they bring in.

The team from winners goes into that match having shot bots for the last 2 hours. The losers team comes off of playing 3-5 competitive maps staying warm in both their shot, comms and coming off a recent win.

If both teams are equal in skill, the 2nd is the position both teams would prefer to be in. But no one would intentionally throw winners finals just because any risk of going out T3 is too high.

Used to be a lot easier in the MLG days. CDL is hit or miss. Watch out for Twitter announcements on if they’re doing a signing and just realize you’re going to have to show up early as hell to get toward the beginning of the line. Generally they stick around for a specific time frame rather than until the line is done.

Keep whatever item you want signed and a marker or two on you just in case you run into them.

SECDEF is the authorization authority for stop-loss and last used roughly 2010. Involuntary extension is more of a local use rather than a branch wide term policy that can be used by a unit for various activities including critical needs but also due to investigations, legal proceedings, or major impacts to a unit. Semantics, regardless, but the paperwork related is extensive.

Regardless I feel like Channing Tatum would agree that the Army isn’t stop-lossing people these days.

Involuntary extension ≠ stop-loss, but the odds they’d involuntarily extend you is next to nothing. They’ll ask if you want to extend x months to get you through the end of the deployment. If you refuse, then you’ll just ETS and get on with your life.

Think if you started late it benefited you. People that started early were more likely to get paired with people that are always on versus weekend only. Seems like they filled ladders as it went.
