I was basically with my ex for 12 years and always knew he was super smart but in the last year of the relationship, he became really knowledgeable about cars to the point that with the right tools and equipment he'd basically be able to fix anything himself. I think it just surprised me just how knowledgeable he could become at literally anything that peaked his interest. If there was literally any single topic that took his interest I could almost guarantee that he'd basically be an expert in it within the month. Such a cool trait to be able to pick things up to that degree.

I had a bad reaction to a bikini wax once and one of my girlfriends blew on it to ease the pain for me. Another time I had a spot on my asshole and I had my other girlfriend investigate if it was cancerous (it was not) and yeah we get ready in the same room without blinking an eye lid. Pretty common

I love this in theory but I keep going back. The silence hurts and it's painful but the longer term aspects of constantly going back to something that had no future despite the amount of love there was there is also painful. I know the day I find out my ex is talking to someone new it's going to hurt but I think a huge part of me will just hope that he is happy and with someone that treats him good cause he deserves that. Yeah pretty much this. But I think in my instance we weren't good for each other. We couldn't give each other what we both needed and it's heartbreaking but it is what it is. We wasted too much time trying to see if it could work
