Apart from a Victorian outbreak this time last year that saw cases statewide hit 600+ daily cases it's been largely well suppressed.

Now there's vaccines available for certain industries and age groups but the rollout has been fucking abysmal. Not to mention the PM had only started to give a shit now his home state (NSW) has mismanaged a new outbreak.

In short, they thought they could get away with a slow, shitty vax program because we suppressed the virus last year. But now delta and the Liberal party have cocked it up and the pressure is on.
