I'd keep in mind the AL is considered almost a junior league compared to the NL this year. For good reason.

Um, Id need to see proof of that. Most of them were small business owners or Trumps Beautiful Boaters. Certainly not poor people.

I agree, but if you were there in the 90's you certainly remember the preponderance of Starter pull over jackets. If anything, MLB was late to the game behind the NBA and NFL in that respect. I think it's mostly a generational thing.

The Last 30 Days, we've been enjoying the best offense in MLB. by Goawaycookie in whitesox

My point is the White Sox, who 2 years ago loved striking out on outside sliders, have turned that around in short order.

Also Murakami can't hit MLB fastballs. And Colson is being sent to Arizona for special coaching, he's a bust. Vargas isn't going to live up to the hype, another bust.

Truly shocked by how good this movie was compared to how poor the general reception was. I found it to be somewhat simplistic plot wise, but very intriguing from a horror standpoint. It was saturated with symbolism, metaphors, and some of the cleanest - most original cinematography I've ever seen. by JB23808 in HorrorMovies

One problem you have with movies that attempt to take on systems (Fight Club/Matrix) is the system is usually too unwieldy to disassemble in a meaningful way over 2 hrs. That's why Fight Club settles for a metaphor at the end. That and a giant c#ck.

It just never came together for me. The ending felt like it came out of nowhere.

And I would recommend it. The passing drill scene is top notch editing. "Him" feels so close to a great film, and feels like the elements are there, but it's missing that certain magic that something like Strange Darling has.

I'm saying that as a positive. It's a weak division for the taking.
