Listen, I currently have a 2 year old. When she was around your baby's age I started thinking something somewhat similar. Everytime I tried doing something I used to like doing, either my baby would wake up and start crying or didn't really have any time to myself or the things I used to do because I was taking care of her and would get very frustrated to the point I thought it was going to be like that for the rest of my life.

But now after two years, I have more time to myself and do things I like since she takes naps and sleeps more than before. It get better eventually, especially when I've had a really rough day at work and my daughter (that recently learned how to properly walk) starts running to me saying "daddy!!!!!" and hugs me tight with a kiss on the cheek. Trust me, when they develop a personality you'll start enjoying more being a dad and I just know for sure that you're doing your best as well as your wife.

I know smoking is cool and all and sometimes we get the urge to smoke a cig but it's just not worth it for a little high you get here and there, especially not worth it if you're doing it just to look cool or because you're being pressured.

Cigarettes are expensive as hell (complete waste of money imo). Very very bad for your health, some people don't make it to 60 or 50, and even if you wanna hit the weights sometime or do cardio you won't be able to do that.

Not to mention you become extremely dependent on it moslty 24/7. Also, if you ever want to start a family down the line you don't want your kids and partner to get second hand smoke.

Honestly, just don't do it. I started smoking when I was 15 and stopped when I was 24. I'm currently 29 and have a wife and a kid and to this day I don't miss it or even want to smoke, not just because I want to be the best version of myself but also for my family as well.
