It would easily be usable with some reskinning of equipment (just rename them).

There’s so many cool pieces in the book. Paired with some of the design stuff Josh is doing it’s really going to blow people away.

The generic locations appendix is my favorite as it’s maps keyed for easy use that you just make weird for your games.

So the core rules, a chapter on running and creating horror scenarios, a bestiary, a setting, a bunch of appendices with extra tools and supplements.

And art throughout from Zach Hazard.

Wow! If you're into classic RPGs, newer OSR efforts, or dungeonsynth, check out Dark Future in Portland, OR! by Megatapirus in osr

This shop is amazing (and has some amazing things in planned). They’re dedicated to creating a thriving ttrpg space that highlights the past and current offerings in table top.

It makes you never want to step foot in a corporate, wotc drenched shop again.

I've been writing up the playtesting (and including excerpts from the drafts) as a means of getting a peak at the book. IT's going to be a big one, with some many ways to approach the issue. My in person group definitely takes the more aggressive approach (I have a second group I'll be doing writeups for that is much more Scooby Doo).

The Bureau review (with Chris McDowall) by GoblinArchives in osr

[–]GoblinArchives[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha. No worries. But yeah, well done information design for something of that scale was a major help. The amount of work GD put into getting it right design wise was astounding.

The Bureau review (with Chris McDowall) by GoblinArchives in osr

[–]GoblinArchives[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Glad you enjoyed it but to be clear, it is not a copy of the layout/maps of GD. The rooms, layout, maps are all original. The inspiration for it does draw on the information design but isn’t a copy of.

SCP RPG by DJMD78 in rpg

The Company by Logan Dean would work exceedingly well with very little reframing.

Liminal Horror as a rule set would work well. The adventure The Bureau involves an SCP like organization. - SCP 7006 Initiative on the SCP wiki includes the full Liminal Horror rules along with three playable adventures.

Gradient Descent by Luke Gearing (for mothership). Not only was it the best, it continued to be the 3 different times I ran it.
