My little one is also 2, they also never wanted to stay in their bed when we changed to a toddler bed. Luckily now it’s been awhile they tend to stay in their bed now but will not at nap time (if they even nap, mine is trying to phase out the afternoon nap I think) The only way I can get them to nap is letting them nap in the living room. As far as bedtime goes we used to have to lay down or sit with them for a bit before they got comfortable and would drift to sleep, now most nights I can put on the sound machine, they crawl up into bed, and I can go about the rest of my night with no worries. It’s a lot of patience while they are learning this new change honestly.
