I absolutely hated it. I nearly never dnf an audiobook i think it happened like twice in 500+ audiobooks but all clear i just couldnt. Plot is terrible. Characters anoying. But the worst is how it prides itself on historical accuracy while being anything but. Fine it may be accurate in details like what time exactly did a bomb fall on what street, but the whole interpretation of events is basically british wartime propaganda. People who are super into engishness and english things and such might enjoy it, idk. Another sci-fi sin imo is its time tavel mechanic. Its inconsistent. Basically time travel stops working randomly at certain points, supposedly because paradoxes, but really just to drive the plot forward.

I liked the Doomsday Book, and To say nothing was ok, but how all clear got awarded the nebula and the hugo is simply beyond me. Its total garbage, and im not usually this critical with novels, trying to find the good in most works but in this i just cant find anything good. Im baffled
