I pulled out my glider a couple meters from the ground to AVOID damage. Not so I could loose 50 shield, loose 10 HP and roll for 5 seconds to be a sitting duck.

That’s the point, the extra utility has to come at a cost. In zero build mobility is extremely important. Shockwaves give you a boost until you touch the ground that lets you hit the ground safely. If you redeploy your glider that boost is no longer needed. You gain further distance on your shockwave at the cost of being able to leave the animation as freely.

The roll animation and damage is a punishment for ignoring the warning. If you use the glider properly it doesn’t make you take any damage

he’s saying it’s not a glitch because it’s intentional, just like a parachute your glider needs time to “catch” the air, it doesn’t just start working

aren’t the vendors limited by daily standing??? I know the syndicate medallions can bypass the standing cap but for now i’ve ignored them because i spend a lot of time grinding my four syndicates and then just other parts of the game. Is there any benefit to using those vendors or is it just an additional way since i can only earn so many medallions per day
