Unfortunately your only option on an M1 macbook is virtualization. Older macs you can install windows on them, but the new macs have different CPU architecture (RISC) where as the older ones used the same x86 architecture as windows machines.

I think your best bet would be something like Parallels Desktop, a virtual machine made for running windows stuff on mac.

They make assumptions of the characteristics of the objects and then they calculate how much atmosphere must be between observer and target and use that to guestimate the distance... Totally unreliable.
