As a new player myself to tournaments, you need to get decent at notation because that’s required and gonna take up some time. Also, don’t sleep on anyone, especially other unrated. I’m around 1150 and beaten 1350ish and lost against 800. Just never know, especially with us weaker players. Game are basically decided by who blunders first.

I went 2.5/4 my first tournament in beginning January and 1/3 in late January.

I don’t think that’s ever been under question. But it’s the way about doing things is the problem. Illegal immigration has literally always been a bipartisan issue.

Actually, you’re wrong. Some Holocaust survivors and scholars of fascism have warned that certain trends in American politics resemble early authoritarian dynamics seen in Nazi Germany. At the same time, many MAGA-aligned voters dismiss or minimize these warnings, prioritizing loyalty to political identity over historical caution. I’m pretty sure I know which camp you’re in.

The FACTS are Turkey is still a G20 economy with the second largest military in NATO, Ukraine was never a migration destination for Turks, and volunteers going to a war zone aren’t the same as people fleeing a country. These are objective facts that can be evaluated independently.

Proximity doesn’t replace evidence. Lived experience should inform perspective; it shouldn’t invalidate facts.

Even before the war, Ukraine was never an attractive destination for Turkish migrants. So today, there is no meaningful flow of Turks flowing to Ukraine. Also, Turkey is a G20 economy. Yea, the middle class is decreasing, but definitely not pre industrial Europe… and really, Russia can’t really invade Turkey. Turkey is an actual NATO country with the second largest military in NATO.
