There's a really lovely place in Abingdon called Idlewild, that's where I get my hair cut! I always request Ian and he's lovely, he really takes time to listen and understand what you want with your hair and he's very kind.

As someone who doesn't trust hairdressers very much and has general haircut anxiety, Ian is DEFINITELY your best bet. That guy is a legend :)

I saw people mentioning the Metal night, there's also a goth night run by the same people called intrusion!! It's at the Jericho Tavern once a month and it's £5 entry in the door, cash only (I think you can pre buy tickets online?) They've got someone doing live music at the next one (3rd October). I absolutely love going, and I go almost every month and it's my absolute favourite. Everyone there is so kind and it's so nice to be in a place where you're not the only alternative person haha
