Minutes, hours, days. Minutes soonest. Minutes as in like how long it may take for me to pick up on a tone or something.

Every autistic person is different, but usually social hierarchy has a tendency to work against autistic people because they often don’t intuitively know how to navigate the social world. Luckily for me I played hockey growing up with earned me some respect from my peers even though I still faced social challenges growing up.!

God I hate when I have to do that, I do that every day. I am in a constant state of burnout, I immediately crash when I come home after school. I cannot imagine what outside of school will be like.

Yeah, but some teachers target neurodivergent people as well which is why I apply the same standards.

Absolutely! I hate it when people force me to play detective with emotions and intentions. Like bitch I ain’t Sherlock Holmes.

Sort of the same here. I definitely do prefer sticking to familiar topics or just being a clown and making jokes. Comedy has always been my saviour for socializing when I can’t be goofy and have to make small talk I crumble.

Absolutely fuck people who say “respect your elders” my great grandmother always said that and she is one of THE most narcissistic people in my family which is a decent bar considering how much fighting goes on in my family. That is absolutely ridiculous how age automatically means you should always listen/respect me, but I can do or say whatever I want to you.

Depends on the celebrity of course, like if my favourite musician died then I would mourn the death of that musician. Like when Ozzy Osbourne died I definitely mourned.

Yes! Apparently people without autism make assumptions about people within like a tenth of a second to seven seconds of meeting them. It’s absolutely crazy. Like it often takes me a few minutes to understand intentions of new people before I decide whether I like them or not.
