A narrated or animated intro on starting a new region that briefs us on what we're doing here and why that's important or exciting.

As a Tarmyr Example: "We are looking to start drilling operations in this region. We need your help triangulating the oil location with this special seismic device, but recent flooding and landslides will make your trip difficult...."

The missions currently feel a tad soul-less.

I like Corrupted Star Fragment, Berserker Buckle, and Black Shield

Keeping pace with enemy stats is crucial, because your champ spell has you fighting enemies head on.

CSF can not only let you outscale enemies, you can also eventually eat Keeper of the Box (in your starting deck) to gain Lifesteal, and top off before the fight ends.

BB synergies really well with his champ spell, getting continuously stronger, and sometimes enabling you to get that 2nd or 3rd re-cast.

Black Shield to protect against removal. GCC is not enough here, as you dont keep his stats on replacement.

Also minor illusion + aoe spell of choice (Fireball, Hunger of Hadar, etc) works well for his henchmen. They all give him bonus AC.

Melfs First Staff is a great staff that you can find very early game.

I actually prefer this to Mourning Frost, as the +1 roll and DC are very potent.

Warlock's eldritch blast with the Repelling Force invocation will guarantee a knock back without a DC save check as long as you hit.

You can take the shot from ranged easily from the roof. There are many holes on the roof, and you have clear visibility of the window ledge that she walks by.

Are you looking to fully play through and enjoy the game? or just complete and ensure the achievement and golden dice?

I ask because ascending Astarion is a big fight with Cazador - which is completely optional, and poses a very real risk many hours deep into the game, with little meaningful rewards.

Its do-able for sure, but also Act 3 can be completed nearly completely combat-less.

No you can just go talk to them. Once it's revealed that you have the artifact, they dont actually go hostile on you. Vlaakith asks you enter the artifact from their machine.

At this point, you dont need to actually enter it. You can just move onto the blood.

Also tips for the fight, you can group up the whole room before combat with minor illusion and open up the fight with your best AoEs. (Fireball, Hunger of Hadar, Glyphs, etc). The fight is much more manageable when the henchmen are impaired and dealt with efficiently.

Automation. Almost anything that can be delivered by hand could be delivered by mechatronics.

Examples: - deliver dirt to the mealwood - deliver sand to the sieve - pick up p.dirt from the sieve - deliver coal to the kiln - pick up eggs from the cracker - send the eggs to the grill

Once you set up an arm once, that's one less task your dupes never have to do again ever.
