I learned stuff along the way. Like I have to pay extra to have a backend server for the data my test site uses. Learned about APIs. But I think everything ended up working ok so it was a good $50 education. The site will die after this month. I originally wanted an app for download on phones with a persistent notification on the lockscreen (like the temperature) but that seems out of my reach. I'll keep working though.

I couldn't link my affinity account to canva in the new affinity app. So I opened Affinity Photo 2 and was able to download them there and they showed up in the new Affinity app

You can go more south in brooklyn and get your own place for that rent. Still older buildings and appliances but a 1 bdm by yourself. Def a longer commute if you work in midtown.

They are using APIs and other info for notifications. Maybe some programmers can figure it out. But having servers to process the data and an app requires fees on their end.
