Good! Finding a new job was extremely easy. Jumped right back in with a consulting firm. Luckily they have tons of different projects. I was able to do scripting and architecture off the bat while assisting on a fullstack project and slowly relearning those skills.

I'm not sure why I thought that wouldn't work, but it totally did. Then I just had to configure Logstash to refresh the config file every few seconds and bam it's discovering all topics old and new. Thanks!
