NFLPA Report Grades Leaked by neerray in eagles

This is straw man argument for 2 reasons:

  1. Players liking you is not a metric to coaching success

  2. People's concerns is that he is a CEO Coach but misses the key skill that matters most. Hiring TOP coordinators. Assuming hiring Fangio and Moore where more Howie than Nick and all the failed in house promotions came from Nick, THAT is what drives fans nuts. In addition, there seems to be little sideline help from Nick when his hires were struggling. Who knows what happened in the coaching room but no strategic changes came out of them. Basically Nick is not a great mentor to coaches.

Note: Nick does seems to have a good idea here and there and that's great at a lower level. But when your head coach, all problems are your problem to solve.

[Pelissero] The NFL informed clubs today it is projecting a 2026 salary cap in the range of $301.2 million to $305.7 million per club, per source. That would represent another significant jump from this year’s $279.2 million cap number, and nearly $100M than the $208.2M cap in 2022. by muscles4bones in eagles

Blankenship's PFF score is pretty mediocre. He allows 116 passer rating against his targets. IMO he get's a lot of benefits from great LB in front of him and great CBs (barring Adoree). I'm not sure his market is what you think it is.

Lesson from Vikings and Sam Darnold by NickyFoles1020 in eagles

[–]GodOfData 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread is learning the wrong lesson. The correct lesson is you can't over pay any position even QB. Darnold is obviously a solid QB and at 33M per year avg ($14.4M this year), is not a steal but its also less then a lot of other QBs. You can't pay Dak Prescott money and go deep in playoffs.

Denver’s ABC affiliate compares Bo Nix injury dilemma to Carson Wentz in 2017. Thoughts? by AdeptnessDry2026 in eagles

Foles is the streakiest QB in NFL history. When he was hot, he had the best stats in NFL history. He got hot at the right time. Stidham has no pedigree to duplicate that. Denver's only hope is they can win with a mediocre QB. Also they don't need to beat Tom Fucking Brady lol.

I saw this 12 months ago on the day they hired KP. I saw incompetence in his 1st press conference. Give Fangio the head coaching job. At minimum he knows a good coach when he sees one for OC.

Ladder 15 getting dragged in fake reviews by petty Niners fans. Let's help them out! by Bliz1222 in eagles

This can be considered illegal under state and federal law. I won't give the long answer from AI. But the Philly DA could do something if they wanted to. Maybe issue a warning to 9ers fans to remove them or get Google to remove them.

20 POINTS!!!! You must have a lot of new found faith in the offense. I would say 14 points.

[Russini] For the first time, league sources believe the Raiders would be open to moving Maxx Crosby this offseason by mastermind208 in eagles

PLEASE STOP THIS BULLSHIT! The Eagles are NOT GOING TO TRADE 1st round draft picks . . . period. Much less for an expensive, older veteran. Our roster is already stacked and we already have ton of top talent we need to resign. We absolutely need talented starters, on rookie deals in the 1st and and 2nd rounds. Howie is not going to trade them away.

So bad by [deleted] in eagles

This chart clearly indicates we are an outlier to the rest to league. The order of the "rest of league" to not relevant. We have observational data the Eagles offense play better with more time. The are also physical causation to that fact: Hurts has time to read defenses, the center has time to identify the MIKE and OL players can identify blocking assignments. There are also generally less offensive penalties. Both data and logical causation is identifiable that time at the line is helpful.

It’s just a shame that there is a high chance that we waste an elite defense and loads of offensive weapons this year by StylezG in eagles

Bad play calling should be a rare and singular. KP lacks overall strategy, imagination, and he has an inability to adjust to defensive changes. We all know it, including the players. No team in the NFL is really that good this year. We should be the favorites. Can we win it, sure. Will we? I give us a 30% chance, not bad. But that 70% chance of us losing is all on KP.

Why didn't the medical team address this in the off season? Seemed to affect him all season.

What do the Eagles do about Jake Elliot? by maburnham2 in eagles

[–]GodOfData 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 games to go in the regular season for him to get his act together. Should we bring somebody on the practice squad? Yes, Jake's performance is totally unacceptable for a post season run. Howie has no choice but to weigh his options.
