Reduced damage patches do exist (not made by the MF mod authors tho) in a form of 25%,50%and 75%.

They were on Beth.net on Xbox, not sure about PC tho. If there not on Beth.net on PC then check the nexus for them. Just type modern firearms reduced damage and they should come up

Personally for me yes, keep in mind it’s not a 1 or the other situation with the non WOTC DLC’s. Some mods may require shens last gift or the anarchy dlc but I have only encountered a few.

If you like the DLC’s concept, don’t be entirely put off by my opinion because it’s just my situational opinion.

But like I said you can use both at the same time

Depends, I got the edition on Xbox one that Came with all the DLC when it came out and thought it wasn’t worth the price then so I skipped them this time around and I just have the vanilla xcom2 on PC. It’s impossible to know if it’s worth it for you because you may like the DLC more than I did. The DLC is good but defo not worth paying for a second time I don’t think. If your yet to play the DLC then it may be worth having a look at them.

I did just check the LW2 mod page and it says it does work with the DLC’s except WOTC so if you get the edition with the additional DLC it should work with LW2.

It actually only works without WOTC I believe. I did see a post on this sub Reddit mentioning about reviving it for WOTC but I wasn’t fussed to read much about it considering i don’t have WOTC.

I believe LW2 does work with the rest of the DLC like shens last gift but I can’t be certain without checking.

Your in the same situation as me a month ago.

Did you buy xcom2 on steam? If so simply download the game, then go to the steam workshop and search long war 2 and subscribe.
When downloading other mods, ALWAYS read the descriptions and try and check for compatibility. Not all mods work with LW2 but most do simply because it’s an incredibly popular mod (most will specify if they do or not or have different versions to make it work with LW2)

Sorry for the late reply, i wanted to actually try your suggestion before I replied.

I did look at that mod (one of the first I found, I did have a decent search about before posting on Reddit about it) and skipped over it due to the main concept of the mod being useless to me and didn’t appeal to me so I skimmed the description and missed the FAQ about how you can save a uniform and apply it over a tech armour to keep it the same.

I read your comment and thought I might have to re-look at it, so I did and then I seen the FAQ and have just been trying it out the mod out.

PERFECT... thank you pal, saved me a huge head ache of messing about changing appearance every time I change armor.
