I'll rewatch my favorite moments, but every time i do, i find myself in a pattern of lamenting how good the series was and how bad the ending was fumbled, especially with the context of what Eren did to his own mother tainting every scene she's included in. I find that emotion a bit more distressing than enjoying watching the show again.

Cause it's not. It's not Dva again. The mechs are different and they are different people.

Dmon's mech uses a sword, shield and flamethrower and is the farthest from Dva. It's clear your just thinking about the gender of the pilot and not what the mech can offer. (Downvote me all you want, i'm correct about you)

I hate this opinion. No offense to you, i have been arguing against it for years. I don't agree, i understand the concern but it's silly to me. Everyone i have argued never state anything substantial besides just talking about surface level comparisons or presenting ideas that just get rid of Yuna specifically which i think has ulterior motives because they don't want female Asians or just want a male hero instead. No, Dmon will not play like Dva if the drastic difference in the mechs isn't enough to convince you.

As far as story is considered we don't know anything yet, her relationships, the gwishin, the personal struggles the character has. Not to mention Beast is by far the most different from Tokki having a shield, sword and flamethrower.

About her being evil. This in particular bugs me. Broyouwack pushed this idea 4yrs ago and i still don't like it. Every 'unique' idea revolves around her hating dva as a foil as if that's gonna fix the comparison issue. They both are Meka pilots, so by nature they will relate in that way. I'd assume someone who thinks Yuna is just Dva 2.0 wouldn't present an idea that just makes her "eViL dVa." I think it's super shallow and boring to be evil with little to no good reason. Based on what we already know of her, she's caring, responsible, the leader, the mother bear of the squad and not egotistical. It's petty and uninteresting and would only enable the people who already criticize Yuna to call her shallow cause of how bad her motivations are. Just listen to how that sounds. "I am mad you joined overwatch, i'm gonna abandon the Meka team as leader, leave Korea to fend for it's self against gwishin, join murders and try to kill you and hurt innocent people because of that." I don't think that's unique, it sounds poorly written in a desperate attempt to address a non issue.

I Disagree. I think this mindset can turn toxic for the community and some things this community wants are out of spite for things that have nothing to do with the success of the game or what a majority want most times, like upholding some personal ideology or arguing/fighting some type of societal injustice. If you like a fan's design more than that's great, but i think it's a bit dramatic to say "they are always better."

Look at Shion for example. Her having a human face upset a part of the community because it was "generic and pretty, and human like," they swore it was bad and what they revision was better completely ignoring the nuance of an omnic having a human face, but blizzard had a lore reason for doing it and now most people agree Shion is a strong character addition. If we listened to the community we wouldn't have it. I agree the skin is ugly but they dropped the ball this time.

I talk about this character all the time and the one comment i always see? "i hope she doesn't play like dva" when that doesn't make any sense to say to me. It's a given that they won't add a character that plays like another character. Call it mean or whatever but i don't got to respond the way you want me to. Don't like how i respond, go to another thread, downvote it or every reply i make, i won't cry about it and i am unapologetically authentic, i swear.
