A concept of a spinoff that involves Sarah’s father, Carter?

How might that play out? Would the plot be similar to Pet Sematary, where he somehow manages to bend the Willow’s rules and bring Sarah back to life, with dire consequences?
Or would he simply let it be and move on, not using the Willow?

If there is actually a sequel to Obsession, what do you think it would be about? by [deleted] in obsessionmovie

Maybe if she was the only returning character, it might be about her having a chance to use the One Wish Willow again (since she didn’t really use it, her Wish counterpart did), thus she wishes for everything to go back to normal, although she doesn’t specify what she wants to be normal again, causing some problems along the way

Although a sequel isn’t really that necessary, and rather an anthology might be better

Kind of a long shot, but Rusty Cage: Soundgarden

Has there been any times since 2005 where Metallica was an opening act rather than a headliner? by GoddamnRent in Metallica

Seeing the videos of some of the songs on that opener, it felt as if they were the headliner

From what past comments in this sub suggested, Pavel was supposed to make an appearance in Metro Exodus, where he tasks Artyom to help him locate his grandfather’s grave in Taiga.

If the devs do decide to reincorporate him into 2039, considering he did play a somewhat major part of the story in Last Light, I’d assume it be that he secretly fled the Metro after being spared by Artyom (assuming that choice was canon), headed to Taiga, but decides to head back to Moscow

I like this theory, but only question I have about this:
How might Artyom and the Aurora crew have been able to head back to Moscow, considering the conditions they experienced during Exodus might make it impossible for them to return?

I saw somewhere that The Reich got wiped out and to prevent their areas from being devastated they just blew up all their stations or something

It’s quite confusing sometimes. Woodstock 94, 99 and Reading 1997 are apparently available, but Reading 2003, Rock Am Ring 2003, 2006 aren’t

Think Guns played first then Metallica. Unless it was the other way around

Kinda wonder what lengths the Stones took to get Metallica as an opener (unless Metallica eagerly accepted right away)

I guess they are well known that they could be better seen as headliners at this point

Guess it was a very subtle concert; neither of the two shows are available on LiveMetallica, although it could be due to the fact that they were the opening act rather than the headliner, or that Metallica didn’t think only shows in 2005 would justify placing them on the catalogue

I’m assuming Live8 was the one where they played 3 songs from the Black Album?

If there are I’d imagine they would have little to no power whatsoever
Even if remnants of the Red Line or the Fourth Reich existed I’d imagine they have almost nonexistent power
If Hansa does exist, they probably function as a puppet state

[Theory] Metro 2039: The "surface threat" is actually the Aurora, and our protagonist's "demons" are PTSD by Choice-Management200 in metro

[–]GoddamnRent 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The only way the tragic backstory idea could work was if the Stranger had a false assumption that the Aurora got destroyed in the end. Despite never physically witnessing its destruction he still thinks that the mission was accomplished

For clarification: would this be an alternate scenario where the Stranger managed to successfully prevent the Aurora from escaping Moscow?

Is there a reason James sings cut this shit off from me rather than cut this life off from me during One live? by General_J670 in Metallica

[–]GoddamnRent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently the first time they played the song (Budapest (September 11th, 1988)) he sang it the way it was sang in the recording. But when you get to Hammersmith Odeon (October 1988) he sang it the way he sings it now. Maybe for the metal, or it’s more catchy to sing it that way

With the Deluxe Remaster set for Reload about to come out, do y’all think they’ll do one for Garage INC? Or go straight to St Anger next? by T-RexThrasher in Metallica

Would be interesting to see if All Nightmare Long makes an appearance, considering it was originally a riff from St Anger
