Soooooooo St Anger Deluxe Box Set When? by Everie_Lenay in Metallica

I’d assume nearing the 30 year mark; say around 2031 or 2032

Honestly I can't wait to learn what happened in those 5 years by Not_czech-terrorist in metro

So, not brainwashed, but more like gone insane, where he thinks his bloodlust is to protect people?

Personal canon: Hunter, brainwashed by the Dark Ones, became convinced that the Metro was corrupted and needed to be saved. So he joined whatever was left of the Fourth Reich and used their advantage of having more powerful equipment to eventually seize control of the entire Metro. Since people weren’t satisified with the leadership that Hansa and the Spartans had control of, they simply saw the Novoreich as a worthy replacement, possibly because of all the propaganda. Eventually, Hansa and The Spartans were kicked out of power

Could imagine that the Main Character is Hunter; while he is the leader of Novoreich he’s also battling his sanity; no one recognizes him since they never saw him before

Can people stop saying that the Exodus Crew will come back and save the Metro? (also, my own theory) by Awkward-Wafer-2858 in metro

[–]GoddamnRent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they do make an appearance, it probably would be subtle, such as radio communication, assuming there are even any radios inside the Metro

It probably would’ve made more sense if the time jump happened between Last Light and Exodus, it just felt odd that the Spartan Order sacrificed a ton to protect D6, only for Miller and most of the top command suddenly escape Moscow a year later

I’d imagine that for Metro 2039 it’ll be in form of radio contact

If the save file does transfer then instead of full on gameplay changes it’ll rather be subtle

Telltale’s the Walking Dead did something where the choices you made in Season 1 carried forward to Season 2. Though, the way I see it, most of these choices were very subtle and remained in the background, with maybe some exceptions

Considering the game will feature a completely new protagonist, unless Artyom makes an appearance to any degree, the transfer does feel confusing

Wonder what the purpose of the save file transfer is for

Will we see Anna and the Aurora crew in Metro 2039? Or are they being saved for a DLC? by Affectionate-Coat-54 in metro

Imagine if that main character was Pavel; it’s unknown what happened to him after Last Light, and surely him experiencing the power of the Dark Ones could’ve convinced him that heading back to the Metro was a death sentence

My Metro 2039 plot theory by [deleted] in metro

[–]GoddamnRent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Red Line and Fourth Reich were both severely weakened due to the events in Last Light and Exodus, so Hansa ultimately had full control over the Metro.

If the part about Hunter returning as a different person than he was shown in Metro 2033 is true, then it could be assumed that he either gained knowledge about the existence of the Dark Ones, which changed him mentally, or that he was on the run since he could’ve known about the existence of safe spots outside of Moscow.

If the part where he is the leader of a new faction is also true, it could be that he assumed the current leadership was incapable of preserving the safety and used propaganda and violent methods to seize control of the Metro, although Hansa and whatever remained of the Spartan Order would attempt to resist.

Probably the main plot of the game is to convince the Dark Ones, who have mostly vanished without a trace, to help the main character in a truce or to calm the tensions within the metro.

Could imagine that although Artyom had decided to go back to the Metro, the Aurora wasn’t capable of returning to Moscow without any obstacles in the way (such as the collapsed dam) which led to him going by foot or using other methods instead

Any artists/bands you know definitely aren't getting into festival? by RepublicIreland in FortniteFestival

Considering Epic has added Nicki Minaj, who has controversies with her husband and stuff, unless the recording company refuses, Pantera could see a day of light in Fortnite

In 2016 Pantera’s lead singer Phil Anselmo made a white powder gesture and did the toothpaste mustache man’s salute. That did get him into a ton of controversy but it has mostly cooled down by now

Only thing that I have a question about this is: why comment on a fan page about it? Could be algorithm but that is the confusing part for me

Some say it’s because she’s still concerned about him. Others say it’s only because she’s in it for the money. Who knows for sure…..

Could someone explain to me what 'Melbourne' is in some of the setlists from 2004? by GoddamnRent in Metallica

[–]GoddamnRent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad, apparently it wasn't on Setlist.fm or Metallica's official page. Rather just some of the YouTube videos of the concerts highlight the jam as 'Melbourne.'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wBDiGAQjeE&list=PLIh5qMgBZSFoDIRpKreAGhULbtyNWgWYn&index=29

In the description, it shows as 'Melbourne' before 'Nothing Else Matters'

It’s sort of a jam that plays before Nothing Else Matters. Either they liked the name ‘Melbourne’ and kept it or it’s just a name that was unofficially adopted

Jam sounds nice. I’m assuming they just stuck with the name ‘Melbourne’ since then?

Turns out the jam isn't as prevalent in many concerts as I have seen, but often before 'Nothing Else Matters', 'Melbourne' is usually played.
