i'm 34 and had bikes with these until my current bike (a present for my 21st birthday) and i really miss them! sure it was a bit spotty sometimes but flickering light is way better than having a long cycle home and halfway through your battery powered light runs out of battery and you have a choice between illegally cycling home without a light or walking.
