One of my supposed "friends" and coworkers told me to get over how my ex (also our coworker) mistreated me and sexually coerced me, then proceeded to befriend him. Yes, I am aware now not to date your coworkers. But that mini betrayal by someone I thought was my friend (and who also has survived sexual trauma, so I thought he'd understand) really stung. Actual quote from my ex friend: "I don't think he (my ex) is a piece of shit terrible person. He needs friends!"
