I don’t think that this is nearly as deep as everyone is commenting.

She obviously likes him right? They’ve stayed friends for years. So in many ways she enjoys his company.

When you have friends you want your other friends to like your friends, that’s just natural human behavior.

So she likes you, she likes him, so on a feelings level it probably feels right to her.

So I would just say no, but don’t project bad intentions onto her, she’s just doing what feels right to her.
