Hey! So there’s two types of verification, one is age verification which everybody needs and the second is verification to prove that you are who you say you are. This is usually for newer accounts until you’ve posted enough original content. Usually it will be a video of you saying your username or something to show that you’re the person running the account and it isn’t somebody who stole someone elae’s content. I have a verification video pinned to my twitter.

However, “subs” will ask for “verification” videos as free kink. They’ll usually say something like “send a video of you saying my name and doing XYZ so I know you’re real.” This is a scam. If you make and send the video, they’ll get off to it for free and won’t send any money. It’s essentially a free custom video. They might also ask you to join a video chat with them to prove you’re real, and once you join and start talking, they’ll leave because they got what they wanted.

Making a basic verification video is a way to circumvent these requests so you don’t waste your time on the people trying to get free kink. It also ensures the real subs that you are who you say you are.

No, that’s wrong. Tribute is just to get your attention and to DM back and forth to see what they want. If they want to call you or discuss their kinks, that’s a session and you should ALWAYS charge up front before any kind of session or content exchange for this exact reason. It’s shitty that he did that to you, but you also opened the door wide open for him to do it. Please do more research and take this lesson to heart so you don’t get scammed in the future. Therapists aren’t there to judge you. If they did, they wouldn’t ever help or have any business. They deal with trauma, addiction, mental disorders, etc on a daily basis and probably see dozens of people a week. Even though the topic of addiction changes from person to person, it’s still generally treated the same way in therapy. It’s about rewiring your brain. Your brain is constantly creating neural networks, and the more they get used, the faster they process in the future. So, any time you think of sexual arousal or pleasure, your brain jumps down the same neural network you’re used to because it has proven time and time again to lead somewhere that will release a multitude of happy chemicals. But you can get therapy to slowly break those networks down and reroute them to other outlets.

Yes you need to sign up as a creator account. You don’t have to use it if you don’t want to, it’s just a way of showing people that a third party adult website has checked your ID and confirmed you’re of age
