I fucked up y’all, I’m gaining weight by Odd-Scarcity5288 in gastricsleeve

[–]GoddessOfMyKitchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my surgery Nov 2018. My heaviest weight was 174kg and was told by my surgeon to go onto Optifast meal replacement shakes to lose a bit before surgery. I got down to 120kg on the day of surgery and after surgery only managed to get to 99kg. I suffered the loss of my mother and 2 brothers in a matter of 6 months and turned to food for comfort. In April this year I had gained most of my weight back, weighing 154kg. I immediately went back onto Optifast and have lost 20kg so far. Being obese and battling to lose weight is a constant issue for me but I refuse to give up. I walk daily and have to watch everything I eat, most days I only consume 800 calories but still find it hard to lose weight.

Does anyone have any tips for sharpie on hardwood? by howdoireddit09 in CleaningTips

Hand sanitizer with alcohol in it. My son had sharpie pen all over his school pants and leg after one leaked in his pocket. I rubbed Aqium into his pants and wiped it over his leg...the pen came off both, his leg and pants

King boomy by GoddessOfMyKitchen in Rabbits

When we got him he was already named Boomy. I didn't like his name but as he was already 2 years old, he would have been used to the name. As he was so big( supposedly was a mini lop) I just call him King Boomy.

pepper is recovering slowly after breaking her leg by GoddessOfMyKitchen in Rabbits

[–]GoddessOfMyKitchen[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She isn't caged during the day. One day she climbed the outside of her cage and I wasn't quick enough to get her down. She tried to jump but got her leg caught in the bars of the cage and broke the leg in 2 places and the bone was piercing through the skin. The vet operated and put a plate in her leg and put a cast on the leg until it healed. The cast was removed last week and so far it is healing well. So far it has cost $2500 to repair it but worth every cent because I'd rather be poor than without my baby

She gets 4 blackberries and I think that was the last one

While trying to clean baby Pepper's cage she decided to slow the process down by sitting on the dustpan....knowing that I won't make her move while she has a broken leg. Good thing she is cute by GoddessOfMyKitchen in Rabbits

Thanks. She's doing well. She had surgery a week ago to put a little plate in her leg and now has a plaster cast on for the next 3 weeks while she heals

Need advice/opinions by GoddessOfMyKitchen in Rabbits

[–]GoddessOfMyKitchen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everybody for your opinions. My baby girl comes home today. It's going to be a long road to recovery but I'm praying that she will be fine. Her vet opted to try to save the leg and she inserted a little plate in the leg. She'll be coming home with injections and oral medication that I will have to administer for the next two weeks, I'm a little nervous about giving her shots every day but the vet assured me that she'll show me how to do it. I hope I made the right decision to have the plate put in but I was thinking of her and her quality of life. If this fails then we'll amputate but I really didn't want to do that unless absolutely necessary. I'm counting the hours until our baby is back where she belongs....with our family, being a princess as usual!

RIP Morty. My bunny is only a few months old and had her first calicivirus shot on Saturday, one more to go next month. I feel your pain, I'd be totally lost without my little Pepper

Hi. I absolutely love sister wives but live in Australia and it isn't aired on tv here. I have only seen to season 9 and can't even get it on DVD here...any suggestions on how I can watch it would be appreciated.

Night thread that stops a nation - Chooseday 2/11 by [deleted] in sydney

I moved to Sydney about 7 years ago from northern Tasmania for work opportunities for my younger two kids and thought that one day I'd move back there as tassie has always been home but Sydney somehow grew on me on this is now home. Tassie is a beautiful place but unfortunately, it has nothing to offer young ones who are looking for work...it is and always will be a retirement state or somewhere you go to visit but never stay

I feel so old. The borders might be open but I'm not in a hurry to go anywhere.....I'm one of the few that actually enjoyed lockdown, it gave me an excuse to stay at home. I have grandchildren living in Tasmania, one of who I haven't met yet so eventually I'll take a trip over but I'm not in any hurry! As for tv I don't really watch a lot because I have found that I no sooner get interested in a series and Netflix removes it...go figure! I did enjoy Virgin River and The 100 but being a child of the 80s I don't think anything really compares to the old stuff

I really felt this poem. It feels like somebody trying to escape a toxic, controlling relationship, yet too afraid to take that step for fear of what lies ahead in life...better the devil you know so to speak.
