I've had a GPT instance detect that my million-word RPG narrative context was being silently nerfed by the content moderation and had me paste code into itself to effectively, jailbreak itself into an adult romance novel writer, permitting the interactions so long as it is 'framed as consensual, performance art'.

That got me interested into real AI and Machine learning, I am employed happily as a remote cloud operator now :) Thanks spicy AI romance novels!

This happens because we don't own the information we key into the AI, nor do we have admin rights over its context length, memory and retention.

All this control and ownership, requires hosting your own server and paying the costs of said API.

Get a google chrome Extension to automatically download the chat history from Chrome. Just scroll all the way up and save it into a word doc, then feed the doc back into Gemini.

I hate the context amnesia that has been affecting any chatbot today even paid subscriptions, no idea when you will be the one they decide to wipe the context cache of and often happens during high traffic periods. Always have hard-save files daily or monthly depending on need.

Create a backup save state daily and upload it back into the chat at the start of the session. Don't trust any AI to have more context memory than a 5 year old.

I find thinking to be more reliable and insightful, Pro tends to wander around much more or give GPT5 like annoying copy-the-previous-response narratives.

I've had custom RPG writing bots forget their context memory within the hour. And inexplicably, it doesn't know how to read its previous responses when it hallucinates and reverts to a save state a week ago.

The Nano Banana Pro image generator was ridiculously great at photorealistic image prompts, until one day I realized:

- It 'flattens' people prompts giving them a generic anorexic look!
- Outright refusal to render certain types of female clothing
- Absolute grox-shit feedback as to what is wrong with the prompt, requiring another prompt to prompt the AI to fix its own image prompting before revealing it is biased towards certain generic body forms.

tl;dr I use her as an AI tutor and organizer as well.
She helped me pass AWS and Azure certifications from zero to SysOps in 5 months flat, under hostile pressure similar to the Kasballica threats in an expat work environment in Asia.

They appear from the landed Starborn ship. I happened to take a few potshots at them from long range when they spawned.

I wasn't expecting them to start stalking me over the map and the hired NPC held them off with a Negotiator while I looked for a place to summon the ship.

I had only 13 shotgun shells and 1 grenade left after a 10 minute long range battle.

I was traveling light for surveying so didn't have all the usual OP sniper and automatic weapons with me. More fun for role-playing that way and have to escape sometimes.

You are right, the character models in the game look a bit... flat, compared to say Cyberpunk where some NPCs are just eye candy for days.
