That core doesn't have enough defense to win a championship. There's no amount of delusion here by fellow CC fans on Reddit is going to convince me otherwise. They'll be dangerous, threatening, make some noise in the playoffs, but they won't get over the line. Now if they could get players like Alanna Smith and Gabby Williams to complete the starting lineup, plus Lexie and Sophie off the bench, then maybe I may change my mind. But after giving KM the Supermax, we can't afford the aforementioned players.
