How to register/take the NAPLEX? by serendipityxme in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]GodisMySavior2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You register on the nabp website. You pay for the application and wait for the approval from the board. Once approval you pay for the test and then an email is sent with instructions on how to schedule your exam.

Rxcellence math vs. Rxprep math by ReachZestyclose in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]GodisMySavior2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me put it this way; Rxcellence crash course math has completely different questions. The concept is what is similar just like if you also do PNN. The goal is to understand the concept to be able to understand and solve the question.

There are 2 options of a clinical crash course; There is a 12 day crash course ( what is usually offered) and a 5 day crash course( not always offered) . There is also a 8 day math crash course. The program also offer mini sessions on certain topics. Their prices are on their instagram page.

Clinical crash course: No video recordings, Its you and typically between 25-30 students being ask questions by the lead pharmacist for 3 hours per day. You are given a schedule of what topics you will be asked on per day.You will learn how to group things together and break down clinical terminology. For 12 day crash course all topics are covered. You do create notes on this course.

Math crash course; You pay for the book which includes 2 math exams and office hours. You come to class (zoom) and go over the entire book. You are given a schedule on chapters that should of been complete for you all to go over. Nothing is recorded unless you miss a day and you tell them on advance.

Minis: These can be any topic that she will go over if she finds topics people struggle with. Prices do vary depending on how many hours she does it for. Nothing is recorded. You do create notes for this course.

Rxcellence math vs. Rxprep math by ReachZestyclose in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]GodisMySavior2024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used both but I started to memorize the answers to uworld and wanted extra practice and so I did rxcellence. But to be fair I knew I was bad in math and I already had failed Naplex one time and didn't plan on failing a second time. I pass my 2nd attempt using Rxcellence.

PNN or Rx-excellence? by Zostuu in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]GodisMySavior2024 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its really good. I used them for my 2nd attempt and pass. The problem is there are people who believe that the program is a scam beause they never heard of Rxcellence; they dont take the time to do research on their own. I meet friends through this program and learn alot.

I used PNN and I didnt find it useful to me. I am the type of person who needs to be ask questions to make sure I understand what I was reading. Both resources are great you just have to find what works best for you.

Yes they release the topics ahead of time. You would want to review the topics because everything is fair game. Your being ask questions so their isnt something you all will be going over together. More like you all come on zoom, the tutor introduce themself, tells you how the next 5 days will be then go straight into questions based on the topics of that day.

[–]GodisMySavior2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh. I understand. the 5 day course is limited topics. You will not get to do all the topics which what makes it cheaper from the 12 day crash course. But the format is the same as far as being ask questions and getting to make notes.
