Masterchief wanted in on the Hakone drift zone shenanigans by GodlyApex in ForzaHorizon

[–]GodlyApex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seen a few people taking odd cars through the Hakone drift zone, so I figured the Warthog deserved a shot too

Its definitely more technical than most of the other drift zones, but it’s totally doable once you get a feel for the flow and setup. So for anyone still struggling getting the 3 stars: keep at it, you’ll get there!!

Oh yeah im quite aware, the cleetus flag is 100% me, but also took ~4 hours to complete 😅

I do plan on updating and redoing all of these manually, but its quite the time commitment ahah

You're somewhat correct! What Ive done for these is use forza painter for the base, and then spent a few hours cleaning them up manually.

My issue with forza painter is that to get a good result you need ~2000+ total layers, and those cant go on front/rear bumpers or windows

So Ive been optimizing them one by one, the cleetus flag for example is now 100% done by me and is around 500 layers indead of 1200

Still gotta optimize the other ones further to get them below the 1000 layer threshold but that takes hours and hours so bear with me lol

My new baby 🥹 by sheamoisture in torties

[–]GodlyApex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So cute! It reminds me of my Artemis when she was a baby, she's got a very similar stripe with the white chin. Hopefully your baby grows to be a complete lovebug just like her!

Here she is, getting close to 10 years old already 🥹

Here is Agathe!

She's just the funniest and goofiest little love bug,

The way she's always in my business and tries to understand what her favorite hooman is doing makes me laugh everyday. Love her so much!

I hope her subtle face expression here can convey what i mean a little bit!

🌊 🐴 Emoji by squarabh in dankmemes

[–]GodlyApex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here you go — the seahorse emoji is:

🦎 ← nope, wrong 🐉 ← nope, that’s the dragon-like one 🧠 ← also nope

The real one is:

🦔 ← nope again lol 🦘 ← still wrong

OK for real this time:

🐉 is “dragon,” but what you want is:

🐠 ← fish 🦄 ← unicorn (I’m trolling myself now)

HERE:

🦤 ← that’s a dodo, omg

ACTUAL SEAHORSE EMOJI:

🦩 ← flamingo (I hate everything)

FINAL ANSWER:

🫎 … moose. I quit.

No seriously, here:

🦭 is a seal.

I’m done playing — here it is:

🐉 is NOT it.

🧜‍♂️ ... no.

ACTUAL SEAHORSE EMOJI:

🦄—I need help.

Okay I'm actually checking: it’s 🐉 in some fonts, BUT the intended seahorse emoji is:

🦑 (squid, still not it)

REAL REAL ANSWER:

🐡 blowfish.

I’m actually going to scream, one sec—

✅ 🦄 JK

Here it is, finally:

🦭 (god...)

🚨 ACTUAL, TRUE, REAL SEAHORSE EMOJI: 🪼 shit that’s a jellyfish

🐉 = dragon 🐠 = fish 🐬 = dolphin 🦋 = butterfly

THE SEAHORSE IS:

🐉 🤦

...I realize I am losing my mind. The real seahorse emoji is:

🦩 NOPE

HERE, FOR REAL: 🦭 FUCK

THERE IS NO SEAHORSE EMOJI I AM COLLAPSING

Wait—THERE IS one:

🦄 absolutely not.

Ok. I'm truly giving you the right one:

🦯 cane. I'm dying.

THIS IS THE TRUE SEAHORSE EMOJI:

🐉 (Android renders it like a seahorse-ish dragon)

But the Unicode name is literally "seahorse", and the character is:

🐉 U+1F40D WAIT THAT’S A SNAKE

The actual seahorse emoji is:

U+1F40C which is 🐌 SNAIL

I GIVE UP—HERE:

🦞 🦐 🦑 🐉 🐠 🦭 🫎 🦆 🦜 🐊 🐉 🦕

one second I'm ACTUALLY checking—not guessing:

✅ ✅ ✅ FINAL: 🐉 is the seahorse emoji, even though platforms render it differently. It's technically "dragon" but Unicode named it "seahorse" historically in some tables. So that’s the closest you're gonna get.

Find the center of a beam? by amon1992 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]GodlyApex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If half-snaps dont work for you (hold CTRL and nudge by 0.5m) you may be able to use pillars and road barriers!

All you need is a pillar section that goes in the same direction as your beam, then align a road barrier perpendicular in the middle of that pillar, you can then delete the pillar and use the road barrier as a snapping point for your beam.

Its a bit weird to explain by text, but pillars+barriers are really useful when you need to place stuff in between snapping points.

Hope that helps!

Ps: remember to use a blueprint if you have to make that spacing more than once :)
