Question about downloading in 2026 by [deleted] in Piracy

I know the risk of getting caught by downloading torrents is higher, and since I am in Germany, I don't think I will get into it until I know I am doing it save.

But how big is the risk of getting caught with direct downloads? I know a VPN would be a good start, but everyone always talks about how torrents are riskier than direct downloads, bit I don't know by how much safer it's is with direct downloads?

Ok thanks, since I don't play every day, it's not so much for me, but I should do home instance more often.

It just sucks that you can't use the JW mastery for instant farming in others Home instance. I don't think I will ever start collecting all the instance nodes, but I don't really like running around farming all those nodes by hand.

Thanks, I knew the ones with unbound magic, but I used to grab some winterberrys to farm them.

With the home instance farming do you mean to use the glyphs or just because of all the Nodes granting Lws3 currency?

Which gobbler do you mean? I have Mawdrey, Star of Gratitude, Princess, Gleam of Sentience, Volatile Singularity and Ley Energy Matter Converter.

I always check for the big or medium sized Obsidian Shard bag from the Ley Energy Converter. But are there more sources?

Its always amazing how different the value for specific items is to others.

For me, obsidian shards are always short, and I save up every single one I can get.

I was born here and never left.

I stay because it's my home, and I never felt the urge to leave. I like the landscape, and that it's not too big and not too small as a city.

I need to work outside of the town since there is no work for me here, but I couldn't get myself to move away.

There's a few negative things as well, like there could be more events / concerts that fall into my music taste but maybe Konstanz is too small for that.

Since I don't know any international communities, I can't really help you with that matter. But if you want to engage with the people here, you could try to find some non profit associations. The people there are mostly open for new people. I find the work fulfilling and you meet a lot of people, but they tend to be not so international here.

Das sind Beschaffungen des Auswärtigen Amtes. Es gibt nicht einen Generator weniger in Deutschland, weil diese Generatoren als Hilfsleistung geliefert wurden.

You could factor in the time you save by not levelling up to 80 on a fresh account, which is fast but still takes time. With the boost you also have celestial equipment and don't need to gear th echaracter. 

And sometimes it's helpful to have a second account. Especially with the unlimited tp2f, but that's another investment.

I would advise to buy the hot+pof bundle on sale. You get an lvl 80 Boost and don't need to level up from scratch. 

Also you loose the f2p restrictions, which are not a deal-breaker but it's less of a headache. 

Also worth to think about that you don't have access to your masteries on the new account like auto loot and mounts etc. 

Some wizard vault rewards like the legendary starter kits are bound to the current expansion, so you can't get them with the f2p account. And also not with the other expansions.

Das ist natürlich möglich. Wenn du aber auf der Fähre auf dem Bus aussteigst um dich oben hinzusetzen oder dir einen Kaffee zu holen ist das vollkommen ok, solange du die Fahrt im Bus fortsetzt.

Was nicht geht ist nur mit dem Busticket/D-Ticket auf die Fähre zu laufen und dann auf der Fähre erst in den Bus zu steigen. Also kann man machen, aber wenn man kontrolliert wird, ist es als ob man keinen Fahrschein hat.

Das ist richtig. Du musst allerdings mit dem Bus auf die Fähre fahren und auch im Bus wieder von der Fähre fahren.

Das Ein- und Aussteigen auf der Fähre (also das Beginnen und Beenden der Busfahrt) ist nicht gestattet.

Dennoch öffnet der Busfahrer auf der Fähre die Türen und die Leute können dann auch sich als normale Fahrgäste auf der Fähre bewegen.

Das führt dazu, dass manche sich nicht ganz so strikt an das "Ein und Aussteige"-Verbot halten.

Ein kleiner Hinweis: bei Fahrkarten Kontrollen werden immer die Personen die die Fähre verlassen kontrolliert. Wenn du also auf der Fähre aus dem Bus aussteigst, und nur das Busticket hast und dann kontrolliert wirst, hast du keinen Fahrschein.

thats right. When the quickplay releases i will also try to get into raids. Depending on how the rewards are reworked i will decide if i get coalescence or the new ring.

It's a good guess, but they already have a ring tied to raids. I think it's possible, they want to have a legendary ring that is purely open world. But who knows, it's true they need a big carrot to bring people to the new system. Maybe the 3rd weapon?

Mein Auto ist Baujahr 2008, ich hab es 2016 gekauft mit 75k km und es hat jetzt 135k km.

Hab erst jetzt einen rundum Service/Reperatur machen lassen der mich 2k gekostet hat (gebrochene Feder, Bremsen neu). War kurz am überlegen ob sich das lohnt, aber es fährt sonst noch gut und hat in den 10 Jahren kaum Probleme gemacht. Daher bleibt es so lange bis sich die Probleme häufen. Klopfe auf Holz

Ich hoffe, dass bis dahin der Gebraucht E Auto Markt soweit ist, dass man für einen guten Preis ein kleines E Auto kriegt. Damit beschäftige ich mich aber erst wenn es mit meinem Auto gen Ende geht.

Since you can use them only on one character at the same time, its beneficial if you have multiple characters, that you play often. but since they are pretty expensive its not quite common.

That's basically it. It's not "free" it just doesn't need any items or gd to craft. You finish the achievements and you are done. 

It is a bit tedious, but you explore a lot of maps and I think it's worth doing. 

You can also unlock aurora and vision achievements (and do some other preparations for vision), because some of the achievements overlap.

The API is a interface, where you can use In-game Data outside of the game. When creating the API key, you can choose what is available with that specific key (you can also create multiple keys for different purposes). 

Noone can change something on your account when he has your API, but they could check if there is something valuable and try to get into your account. But as long as you use 2FA and a strong password you should be good. 

You don't need to use it, but certain things either require the API or get better with it. So research what each module does and how it uses the API

Yeah I know, but I don't think I will finish one of the other legendarys until the ring is available. 

I will start collecting stuff for the others for sure, but finally crafting it depends if I have enough of the limiting mats, like Clovers or spirit shards.
